Having had relatives go this way, if true, I hope he is not in too much pain. Prayers.

Yes, agreed.
I mentioned Laura Ingraham's battle against breast cancer on a radio message board and there were a few "regulars" of a different political bent and they started making
hateful remarks (the moderator stepped in to hopefully shine a little sense on the matter). So yes, you may not agree with him politically, etc., but prayers go out to him and his family.

It's been 4 months since he was diagnosed.

Please understand, but I pray your wrong for his sake...
If not, if a miracle be possible....
God Shelter Him. Bring him peace and comfort.
To: MindBender26
Please, although we may harbor personal feelings on his politics..... this is not the time. Exactly. Unlike most politicians and other crooks, he was not in a position to actually harm us. Some passings deserve celebration; this is not one of them.
Poor guy's going out the hard way.

I pray I am wrong too.
There were too many great days in London.

I have to say that Peter Jennings did a great job anchoring, during the Challenger disaster.
May he soon rest in the presence of God.

Heavenly father, if this is truly his hour to leave the land of the living, send down your angels to comfort Peter in his final suffering and comfort his family. If he has any sins, I pray that they are forgiven.
To: MindBender26
I only hope that he realizes what he has done and repents before he dies.

Oats Cell Carcinoma is extremely aggressive......we had a friend diagnosed with this in January, and she died 6 weeks later; mid February.
God forgive him his trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.....as Jesus taught us to pray.

I agree. I don't care much these days for and don't watch ANY of the alphabet news but Peter Jennings is an American news icon. I hope he doesn't suffer and I hope his family finds comfort. I'm sure he paid his dues in the world of news reporting.

I was at a business lunch at a top notch seafood restaurant on 58th St in Manhattan back in the 80s (The Ocean Club?? Can't remember the name).
At any rate, Jennings was at the next table having lunch with Lauren Bacall. Two things impressed me: 1) she wore no makeup and looked pretty good for a woman of a certain age and 2) he was bigger than I thought and he had movie star good looks.
Didn't like him then, and never changed my mind, but I have only good thoughts for him now. RIP.
