Last time I chatted with a world-be burglar, he was all by his onesey and I didn't say a word. I knocked him back through the window he was crawling thru to start with. He left before I could punctuate the conversation with my Glock.

On a lighter note, I celebrated my seventeenth wedding anniversary and went out to dinner with that saint, my beloved wife. She's gotta be a saint to have put up with ME for so many years! Went to a really nice restaurant and got....food poisoning! So we stayed home from school today to recover some.

Yep, both incidents of burglars (both times 2 men - one time dealing with them by myself; one time my husband and I dealing with them) we didn't have to fire a shot. Plain speaking and the busiiness end of a licensed, registered gun does give burglars pause as to which way would be more prudent to go.
