The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

It's hardly a unique fashion statement for a mass transit rider: a Yankees-style cap, and a "New York" sweat shirt.

But the New York Police Department is teaming with British authorities to determine whether those items were worn by suspects in the London terror cases to send a "purposeful message" to the city, according to an NYPD officials.

David Cohen, the NYPD's deputy commissioner of intelligence, raised the concern earlier this week at a security briefing for business leaders at police headquarters in Lower Manhattan.

LOL I was wondering if anybody would catch that! I didn't sleep too well last night and I'm just a little silly today. No offense, baw!

I confess, I'm spending more and MORE time here: RAPTURE READY because I'm convinced as I see this entire historic episode unfold (as you said) that we are nearing the end of this age.

Can anybody in their wildest dreams with a working knowledge of the sino-russian conflicts in the past have ever imagined seeing these two deadly enemies holding joint military exercises as allies??? Gog and MaGog, for sure. The chinese alone are capable NOW of fielding an army of over 250 MILLION troops, without touching the population.

Imagine the hysteria if Joseph Farrah and Ivan Bodansky are correct in their predictions of an American Hiroshima on the immediate horizon and this country gets zapped with say TEN medium sized nukes in our major cities and Jewish population centers (like Miami). Beyond the horror and destruction that would accompany such an event, imagine the confusion if HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of Christians suddenly also vanished as the mushroom clouds began to form?

I saw another post alluding to the Jewish holidays in OCT, but I'm much more worried about the 911 anniversary.

OPINION...

How Jews can do this to other Jews when I am seeing
on a number of sites that Hamas will keep on fighting; the
Palestinians want more areas cleared of Jews, etc. This
is truly a dark spot in history -- maybe. I could be wrong.

I'm only a person peeking in via media reports. Maybe the
Israelis have some plan that we are just not privy to -- yet.

Bottom line: Only Israel can keep Israel strong and that's only
with God's help.

As sad and desperatly wrong this appears to be it does have a bright spot. Correcty me if I'm wrong. With the Gaza strip being void of jews and ruled by terrorists, doesnt it make it a safer place for the Jewish population. Think about it. Isreal can defend themselves/retaliate against the terrorist run Gaza attacks much more efficienty without the worry of killing Jews. I say herd hamas into there. Let 'em set up some terrorist training camps and BOOM!

on another thought . . . these events are prophecied. Whenever I here Gog, Magog, Isreal and Temple Mount mentioned several time in one day I get excited. These are fascnitaing times we live in and the snowball is almost at the bottom of the hill . . . all these events unfolding right before our eyes.

I can't imagine what long term Israeli plan would include this expulsion of Gaza settlers. But I hope the Jewish people rise up and elect into office someone who will not sell them out to the Arab devils, like Sharon has done. Abbas is already saying "Gaza now and than onto Jerusalem". The Pali's are dancing in the streets and saying that is expulsion proves that terrorism works. The reporter who was reporting this, seemed genuinely shocked that they weren't thankful and talking about peace.

Do you see anything in the Israeli political scene that indicates Israel is ready to take over the Temple Mount and rebuild the Temple? Israel seems to be moving backwards now, but they'll never give back any of Jerusalem.

I think China's persons in military uniform are in the low single digit millions.

The COULD supposedly field a 200 million plus army. So could India and or either one of them and the _____-stans.

The logistics of moving that many persons that far short of a MOTHERSHIP could be problematic short of supernatural means.

I have begun to wonder if that Scripture is referring to the military POWER = 200 million strong . . . though I tend to have a very strong very literalist interpretation of Scripture.

In any case, it is certainly the era to be RAPTURE READY, imho.

LOS ANGELES - A Pakistani national has been arrested in a terrorism investigation into a possible plot to attack the Israeli Consulate, California National Guard facilities and other targets, officials said Tuesday. Hammad Riaz Samana, 21, was taken into custody on Aug. 2 and has been detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles, according to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons. His arrest came after investigators discovered a potential target list at the home of Levar Haney Washington, who has been implicated in a series of gas station robberies in southern Los Angeles County, according to a law enforcement source who asked to remain anonymous because of the sensitivity of the investigation. The list included three National Guard facilities in the Los Angeles area, as well as the Israeli Consulate and a couple of synagogues.

I'm with you on that thought. How he could be "relaxing" while all this is going on is incomprehensible. It's also somewhat incomprehensible with a view of threats toward us by more than one nation with nuclear capability that our security levels have been "relaxed." Looking in the rear view mirror of the past few days' events, including the finding of the Washington Metro maps on terrorist site(s), relaxation seems far fetched and unlikely.
