Carville said Novak was trying to look tough for the editorial pages. Novak said that was xxxxxxxx and walked out of the set and you can hearing him throwing his mike. Carville looked like a dear in headlights.

Perhaps he just did. I don't imagine his bosses will be too pleased with him walking off the set and throwing his mike during a live broadcast.

They were going to talk about the cia leak case. Ed Henry who is hosting inside politics said he had asked Novak in advance that he was going to bring it up.
At the time Novak flipped out they were talking about Katherine Harris and Carville said something to the effect that he was trying to look tough for the editiorial pages. That is what set him off. He must have been agitated already.
