An old SS slogan Mein Herr?
It's an old SS slogan. Draw your opwn conclusions about the individual who invoked it.
For the record, Baruch Golstein was an ER doctor who often had to try and save what was left of his neighbors and friends after the palesites committed their depraved acts. Dr. Goldstein became unhinged and it had its way with him. It's a "man bites dog story", as is this one.
"Only one group of religious Jews believes that Israel should not exist - the Neturei Karta"
what about the lubavitchers?
"3,650 Days Since a Jewish Terrorist Attack"
LOL!!
Yes, ma'am.
One individual living in the mental and spiritual pressure cooker which is the modern day Nation of Israel blows a gasket, and the critics and haters of Israel show up like clockwork to fan the flames....
A student told his professor he was going to "Palestine" to "fight for freedom, peace and justice,"Orwellian leftist code words that mean "murder Jews."

"3,650 Days Since a Jewish Terrorist Attack"
BWAHAHAHAHAHA
Priceless.
The Lubavichers are among Israel's staunchest supporters.
Thank you for pointing this out. I had no idea.
One post here referred to Nazis and I thought that was inappropriate and extreme. I guess in the case of Teplukin it's not far from the truth.
I know this is supposed to be funny, but I didn't get it...
I know - that's partly what makes it so sick.
They did not prevail then, and they won't prevail now.
A few having been coming out of the woodwork.
If he taught, he learned. The bachurim ask questions and sometimes he has to research and sometimes he digs deep to find the answer. He learned...G-d Bless him.
A son that works in construction and is Haredi...another stereotype shot to pieces.
I watched a very interesting documentary about "frum" homosexuals. Believe it or not, one was a Yeshiva bachur...and he was HIV positive. He's been to several Yeshivas...and keeps getting booted out because he dresses in drag for the Gay Pride Parade. You'd think that he'd get the message, but not yet.
BTW, thanks for sharing that. It's good to know who you're posting to. Very often it helps to understand who the other person is...and where they're coming from.
Thanks for posting some details. The original post was rather vague.
Just wondering?
>>The two tribes are Issachar and Zebulon
Not to mention the tribe of Levi, Who were completely dedicated to spiritual pursuits and who were subsidized by all the other tribes. Unfortunately, the secularists in Israel don't perceive the importance of having a sector of society devoted solely to spiritual development and see them as leeches.
My guess is that your insticts are sapot on here.
Killed only two huh?
I forgot Levi. Levi did perform Temple Service and they were excluded from a land portion entirely.
To be fair, there is some basis for the resentment.
As Piranha noted in post #38, the concept of learning instead of working has become different in Israel than it ever was in the history of Judaism. It involves a much larger segment of society and for a much longer duration.
For my own view, I think there are exceptional students, Talmidei Chachamim, who merit support from the community. But to a large extent the Haredi community, without reference to ability or even whether an individual's character is suitable to the rigours of sitting and studying all day, pushes its members to study and not work or join the army. That leaves them as an economic underclass, a drain on the economy without giving the benefits of their learning back to society.
But the greatest resentment in Israeli society comes, I believe, from their opting out of military service which is mandatory for all others. If you are a parent who must see your son off to risk his life in service to the country, you may resent others who don't. Army service occurs right out of High School and even brilliant secular students must wait to attend college.
Some in the Haredi community have hidden behind the learning deferment to avoid military service. Some Rabbis in the community have spoken of military service as a tainting experience on the innocence and purity of their religious youth.
Perhaps the average Haredi student should be given a limited army reprieve of a short duration to pursue studies and demonstrate their committment and ability.
I must admit I have great admiration for the Hesder students who manage to be Orthodox, study and do Army Service. That group is also overepresented in the settlements.
