I wish people would quit signing this petition and sign the one at makenynyagain.com.

Why would we quit signing a petition to end this atrocity called, ironically, "The Freedom Center?"

They aren't mutually exclusive.

Because the whole Freedom Tower is BS. No one is signing the petition to make NY look like NY again but everyone is telling them to adjust a tiny aspect of a crappy ugly non-NY design that should be done away with. Any capitulation to the Freedom Tower (be it the tower design or the center) is a capitulation to the terrorists.

No, they aren't. There is no problem with signing both.

The prob is few have been signing the tower one, and ever 3 days this 'the freedom center is aweful! sign now!' posts boomerangs back to the top of FR.

I totally agree with you, the new design is UGLY and too EURO, not NYC.

My first job was in the Woolworth Building, when the WTC was a hole (South Tower) and a 20 story skeleton (North Tower); Since 1990, I had the WTC as a "neighbor" of sorts, looking at it from my office window daily. I would prefer the original design or more of a classic NYC skyscraper, like the Empire State Building or the Chrysler Building.

Thank you for THAT one...I signed both of them, but the petition you provided a link for was the one I've been wanting to sign for a long time.

I believe Donald Trump is right: REBUILD THE TOWERS, & make them 1 story taller than the original towers. That'll stick it to the 19 9/11 hijackers!

It's NY. Delusional Democrats want to make the place look like Superman's crystal castle. On the positive side, those goofy white buildings will hide the pigeon poop stains....

Soon, NY's fashion industry is going to be putting out their blue spandex line- red speedo shorts over one piece spandex jump suits with the big S on the front. Capes optional, along with red or black synthetic leather slip-on boots.

back to reality. I gave up paying attention to this issue long ago. Nothing is going to be built there for a long, long time. Something will always come up or happen to put off rebuilding. An economic downturn, terrorist attacks,
a big war, alien invasion...

You're confusing the Freedom Center with the Freedom Tower. The petition I am asking you to sign is to get rid of the Freedom Center, a Leftist, America-Hating museum that George Soros and his ilk what to erect with Taxpayer dollars.

Yes but it is a part of the Freedom Tower plan (or rather both are planned where the WTC was). The Trump plan I beleive does away with the Freedom Center as well.
