Can you smoke in California? Only if you're on fire... smoking is prohibited in all public buildings, all restaurants, all bars and many other places (including some beaches.)

Ciggys cost around $4.86 per pack. You can't smoke in bars or restaurants. You also cannot smoke at the beach or on the pier. In Santa Monica you are not allowed to smoke within 20 feet of any window. No smoking at sporting events or parks.. so basically - no. lol..
