Why sure! :-)
I'd love to go but am in San Diego. I went to the anti-Michael Moore rally here last year and it was a BLAST! I also spent loads of weekends at the Sore-Loserman rally's here. These FReeps are fun especially when you see how mad the other side gets and we are having such an enjoyable time!
God Bless that young injured man. I would have been so honored to shake his hand.
Thank you for the great post and photos.
Silly me. You brought tears to my eyes!
Hi, Coop:
The "Hell Week" part of our Exercise ended Wednesday. Back to eight hour shifts. If we fiish up at a decent hour, I should be at the FReep tonight.
Jack.
Here's our latest "hero" on the site: Fran O'Brien's Steakhouse
Your tribute to Fran O'Brien's - very nice!
That is a great tribute! I will definitely be steering any and all relatives and friends to Fran O'Brien's when in DC.
Thanks for the ping.
Heads up! In case you haven't heard, Code Pink has changed their time at Walter Reed to 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting tonight.
If all the wounded troops are being brought in under cover of darkness and very late at night, what does it matter if they start at 7pm or 8pm?
They do support our troops, don't they? I mean, that is why they are doing this, isn't it? They aren't just there to bash Bush/Cheney/Halliburton/Rove, are they?
See everyone there!
I wonder, is that sour pussed socialist hellhound even an American Citizen? It is entirely appropriate that she was born in France.
You could have that happen almost any Friday night outside Walter Reed. Come join us if you live close enough; or if you plan a trip to D.C. make the Friday night FReep part of the tour!
Thinking of you fine folks from up here in Wisconsin. Hope you really socked it to 'em again tonight!
I'm pleased to report that they did in spades, however, we did not break a record. Watch for the after action. It may be slow as BillF got off his sickbed (shingles) to report for duty.
Thanks for the update. And BillF, here's a salute for going above and beyond, and I hope you're feeling better soon!
It was another rout, Coop:
The Pinkos started and left earlier than usual. Nowhere near as loud as last Friday's FReep. Though "Goober" (Professor Squeegee) was back again, sans his cheap JC Penny's suit. Gael was there too, though she seemed terribly disappointed with her numbers, considering that DC is a "Hotbed" of Political Activision.
I guess they were getting tired of being flipped off by ambulatory and a busload of wounded soldiers.
Jack.
Just makes you want to go out for a steak dinner, doesn't it? :-) Great work, Jack! Serving your country during the day, and serving those awesome warriors during the evening. I applaud you!
Wisconsin, eh? If you go to any of their famous cheese parties, remember, it isn't polite to ask if you can cut the cheese.
Due to suffering a massive embolic stroke in late '02,the resulting neurologic damage prevents me from driving long distances, Sir. In my case, that would be 5+ hours to D.C. I regret that I have but sarcasm to offer. I shall endeavor to post replete with sunshine and flowers in the future.
