I disagree that homosexual attraction in and of itself is sinful. It is disordered because it is out-of-synch with what God intended, but so is myopia (which I have). Giving in to the homosexual attraction, however, is sinful. Also, refusing to get help from an organization such as COURAGE or NARTH, which helps people with homosexual attraction live normal, heterosexual lives, is perhaps sinful as well.

The Bible says that God ABHORS homosexuality.

Abhor is an extremely harsh word for something that may or may not be wrong.

Forget what people may say about homosexuality (or any other topic), read the Bible for yourself, and listen to what God HIMSELF is saying.

Quit try to make soft and fuzzy excuses for the SINS people commit. Homosexuality is a SIN

JUST AS adultry, fornication, murder, lying, cheating, stealing, and "fibs".

Sin is sin. Its is man who puts levels of seriousness on it, not God. It is one tiny fib that can alienate us from God, and keep us out of heaven. It is Gods GRACE that allows us to come back to him.

Gods standards never change. But our standards, and societies, do.

But it is with certainty disordered because it is a clear deviation from nature and the way human bodies are constructed and normal human psychology has evolved.

Homosexuals are what I call "unfortunate misfits of human design"...whether from a creator's plan or from natural evolution.

Well, come on now; nearsightedness is not a behavior, its a medical description for a common anomoly with our eyesight, something that cannot be controlled or changed by the person "having" it. Homosexuality is a behavior...behaviors we can change...and should change if it goes against the will of God.
