The Bible says that God ABHORS homosexuality.

Abhor is an extremely harsh word for something that may or may not be wrong.

Forget what people may say about homosexuality (or any other topic), read the Bible for yourself, and listen to what God HIMSELF is saying.

Quit try to make soft and fuzzy excuses for the SINS people commit. Homosexuality is a SIN

JUST AS adultry, fornication, murder, lying, cheating, stealing, and "fibs".

Sin is sin. Its is man who puts levels of seriousness on it, not God. It is one tiny fib that can alienate us from God, and keep us out of heaven. It is Gods GRACE that allows us to come back to him.

Gods standards never change. But our standards, and societies, do.

Ah, but is "homosexuality" both the same-sex attraction or the same-sex attraction plus homosexual acts? I would say that it is the act that is sinful.

An analogy with alcohol is appropriate: a person may have a propensity to become an alcoholic, much like a person may have the propensity to be attracted to members of the same sex. The would-be alcoholic can choose to avoid all alcohol, thereby avoiding drunkenness. Likewise, the person attracted to members of the same sex can avoid sexual situations. Thus, he avoids homosexual acts.
