Bomb Threats in NJ?
7/28 | Vanity

Posted on 07/28/2005 4:53:04 PM PDT by DogBarkTree

My daughter called me at 7:00 pm tonite from Jesrey City to tell me about a bomb threat and major police activity near the Journal Sq Station in Jersey City. 5 minutes later my wife called while visiting her mother in North Bergen, she heard that a bomb went off in an area sporting goods store. She has also heard a lot of emergency vehicles driving up Kennedy Blvd with sirens going off and a police helicopter hovering about a mile away. Has anyone else heard anything about this? There is nothing on any news channels about it.

If someone called in a threat, I doubt there's a bomb. Unless there's extortion going on, why go to the trouble of placing the explosive and then give the police a chance to find it before it goes off?

Kennedy Blvd in Jersey City? I don't think the terrorist would bomb their own neighborhood.

Jersey City is jihadi central, easy target they can just walk a few blocks from whatever craphole they're living in.

News12 was reporting some manhole explosions in West New York. Otherwise I've seen nothing.

I'm in Jersey City, J.SQ is 10 or so blocks from me in the Heights... No Police activity i heard of, and the North District (JCPD) which covers J.SQ usually goes on my block JFK ;)

Don't wish to deemphasize the possible severity here.

Par for the course though in Jersey City with the Muslim population there, elements and leadership of which engineered the 93 attack.

Bomb threats on occasion in Newark, Gateway Plaza Building, plans of which also turned up on some terrorist's computer.

Bomb threats to the NJ Ferry too.

The many wonders of openly welcoming Muslims into this country.

Journal Square is like the last place you want to be. Used to be a little safer when the "radical" Muslims were just targeting other areas and not areas they were predominantly in too.

Now though...

Federal government should have seized that Journal Square mosque.

Other mosques like this too.

I've said for a long time now that it is the height of stupidity for the U.S. to wage this so-called "war on terror" all over the world without first bombing all of Jersey City to the ground.

I must agree. Your logic is compelling.

Not all of Jersey City is bad.

Now they gotta go in there though and figure out who is bad.

Not easy to do.
