Bigfoot under microscope
A scientist plans to do a DNA test on a hair that is said to come from a sasquatch.

WHITEHORSE -- A University of Alberta scientist is offering to run a DNA test on what some believe is a sample of sasquatch hair found in the Yukon.
The sample is heading to Edmonton after a Yukon Environment Department laboratory technician who analysed the tuft said results suggest it's likely from a bison.
Philip Merchant compared a print of the hair's scale pattern with those of other creatures. The results were not entirely conclusive, though, said Dennis Senger, the department's communications co-ordinator.
"(Merchant) is being a scientist," he said. "He's not 100 per cent sure, so he doesn't want to say anything conclusive."
But Merchant maintains the hair appears to be bison, not the mythical furry creature.
"I have not seen anything to lead me in another direction," he said.
Merchant said there are still many unknowns about the origins of the sample, found at Teslin, hear the B.C. border.

Them Moose Goosers
by

How about Them Moose Goosers,
Ain't they recluse?
Up in them boondocks,
Goosin' them moose.
Goosin' them huge moose,
Goosin' them tiny,
Goosin' them meadow-moose
In they hiney.
Look at Them Moose Goosers,
Ain't they dumb?
Some use an umbrella,
Some use a thumb.
Them obtuse Moose Goosers,
Sneakin' through the woods,
Pokin' them snoozy moose
In they goods.
How to be a Moose Gooser?
It'll turn ye puce.
Gitchy gooser loose and
Rouse a drowsy moose!

Question: What is the difference between a buffalo and a bison?
Answer:
A buffalo is a large hoofed creature that roamed the American plains.
A bison is what you wash your bloody face in, mate.

Animal remains don't last long. Even the bones are rapidly consumed by rodents for their calcium content.

I have spent many days afield, and never found a deer carcass or a bear carcass or a bigfoot carcass..
Nature cleans up after itself very efficiently. Who knows, maybe the apelike things hide their dead.
