BBC reporter on the scene at Harrow Road is now reporting that approximately more officers, including a bomb-sniffing dog, are moving on to a second house down the road.

Sounds like the police are acting upon intelligence gathered after the bombings yesterday and on 7/7. I suspect the "gent" shot this morning was attempting to get out of Dodge when he met his end.

I've never heard a BBC reporter take the side of the Police or military, so that was a suprise, indeed.

Tends to happen when reporters realize that someone might be scraping them off the walls of a subway car someday.

Very poor interviewing of that jerk on Fox. No one questioned his thesis, that suicide bombers are politically aware and are frustrated by their inability to change policy, particularly to get foreign troops off Arab soil. He also said that most suicide bombers "seek out" people to help them accomplish their goal...

NO ONE on Fox questioned this guy's opinion. I am quite irritated. I saw that interview.

I saw that interview and was quite irritated by him, too. Thesis was that US armed combat presence in mid-east is entirely to blame because the young men are "angry" with us and see no other way to get us out. Denied that it was all about brain-washing by imams or a vision of 72 virgins in their "heaven". Of course he didn't mention Israel or that one reason we were in there originally was to assist Lebanon in coping with the Palestinian refuge problem. To Fox's credit (IIRC), Brian did challenge him on Saddam's terrorism but the guest just keep reciting the same thesis over and over.
