The BBC is reporting a delay in the Police press conference due to "ongoing operations throughout the city" of London.

An incident is being reported on the Harrow Road; described as an ongoing police operation, likely a bomb disposal. BBC describes a "massive police presence".

I suspect we're going to have a period of increased tension and vigilance at the least. You'll probably see many more arrests under the Prevention of Terrorism act. If the Islamists go off again, then there will be even more harsh measures.
