I think it is most likely that the detonators went off but didn't spark the explosive. Quite likely if it was a homemade bomb like the ones last week seem to have been.

The only security improvement is that the Chemist is in jail in Egypt, leaving the second stringers in charge. The backpacks made it to the train stations, only the incompetence of the explosive maker foiled a tremendous loss.

Report that London police are not considering this a "serious" incident.....yet.

Police report that it is not a serious as the incidents two weeks ago.

Sounds like bombs were placed, but did not explode. Maybe link to remote detonators was not working. Or, whoever built the bombs did a very good job.
