He should look dismayed. I pity the fool if that should happen near me, any threats to my personal safety be damned, I'd tackle the SOB and do anything to make sure he didn't get away. I'd hope that fellow citizens would join in if need be.
Has anyone seen a description of the man with the backpack? I'm guessing he did not resemble Benny Hill, Hugh Grant or John Major.
