"If they are co-conspirators, then they will be convicted. To say "their families", even if we only mean adult members"

Your still trying to put words in my mouth, I never implied or said any innocent bystanders should be punished period. Again stop being emotional and start debating the facts not semantics.

Actually, I think someone else said it initially.

My alma mater (ran YAF and the CRs there), longer ago than I care to think about. Hopefully the food and social life have improved. Academics was never a question.

You dont have mass every day interaction with muslims.

Then how come every one I know who's been to Iraq feels that Islam isn't the problem?

I have "mass everyday interaction with Muslims" - both Shiite and Sunni. I've worked and socialized with them on their own turf for a year and a half now.

I fail to see all the crap the media spews. The Muslims I know (and I know a LOT of them) hate the terrorists as much as we do. I also see Shiites and Sunnis being friends and getting along just fine. They even marry into each other's families.

The media is duping people into believing their agenda-driven cr@p. They are also trying to create a civil war in Iraq. They've been trying to do this for well over a year now.

I don't think they'll succeed. But then, what do I know? I don't live in Patterson, NJ or anything like that.

why did terrorist attacks on the West begin in 1993?

It goes farther back than 1993.

Abu Nidal

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Nidal

October 7 – October 10, 1985: Achille Lauro cruise ship hijacking by Palestinian Liberation Front(led by Abu Nidal), during which passenger Leon Klinghoffer, retired appliance manufacturer of New York, is shot while he was sitting in his wheelchair, and then thrown overboard (while still alive). His wife watched in horror.

Pan Am Flight 103 was blown up as it flew over Lockerbie, Scotland, on December 21, 1988.

October 6, 1981: Assassination of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat by Islamic Jihad. (I guess Jimmy Carter and Menachem Begin really miffed those Moslems with all that talk of peace).

Since 1968, the U.S. State Department has tallied deaths due to terrorism. In 1985, it counted 816 deaths, the highest annual toll until then. The deaths decreased since the late 1980's, then rose to 3,295 in 2001, mainly as a result of the September 11, 2001 attacks. In 2003, more than 1,000 people died as a result of terrorist acts. Many of these deaths resulted from suicide bombings in Chechnya, Iraq, India and Israel. It does not tally victims of state terrorism.

If you count France as the West they suffered Terror attacks by Algerians in the 1950's.

If you go further back you'll find the British Empire suffered from jihad in Moslem territories.

It seems those Moslems have been murdering people in the name of their God constantly since The Prophet had his first dream-fit.

al Qaeda sent out their A-team two weeks ago. The amateurs that followed must have had a bad chemical mix in their explosives or they screwed up making the detonators. I want to see these bastards hang.

nope.... I think the Propellant just degraded. One of the bomber's car had a bunch of other bombs in it.

That or ....... naw that's what happened. These little b#tches need to die. Ship them to Pakistan or Afghanistan or somewhere and interogate them. Make a list of the mosques, personal friends and computer lists... start locking these little freaks away.

By the way, did the good mayor of London bend over and blame the "Iraq" war again.

He should be made an honorary Democrat.

Trying to have contest of who knows more muslims ? ;-)

LOL. Im talking about people whom Ive known for years who stand firm for Islam's right to subdue and curtail everything that doesn't submit to it.

Theyre nice as pie to me, but when ive dug a little deep, the hate for western lasciviousness and the awe of mighty islam rears its ugly head.

You're talking about people who you are interacting with on a purely trivial work/social basis in Iraq.

Do you honestly think theyre telling you, a western woman, their inner most true feelings ?

I have two friends in Iraq right now.

Not civilian contractors, but military.

They see what's going on up close and personal and the reality of the cold reality theyre facing offers up a very different opinion than yours.

I'll take the men in the trenches word to heart.

Their truth is unvarnished and in your face about islam. P.S- I have a little experiment for you, ask your muslim Iraqi friends if theyd rather have a terrorist for a son or one who has converted to Christianity.

"Urgent hunt for London attackers"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Three of the devices are the same size and weight as those used for the 7 July London bombings. The same chemicals also appear to have been used.

Analysts say evidence from the scenes may hold clues to the previous attacks.

Rucksacks

Thursday's attacks began at about 1230 BST, with bombs at Warren Street station, central London, Shepherd's Bush station in the west, Oval in the south and on a bus in Shoreditch, east London.

As on 7 July, the bombs are believed to have been carried in rucksacks. Three are thought to have been of a similar size to the previous bombs, while the fourth was smaller and appeared to have been contained in a plastic box.

Clearly the intention must have been to kill. You don't do this with any other intention
Sir Ian Blair

It is thought the detonators went off, causing small blasts, but failed to detonate the bombs themselves. The bombers managed to flee.

Police will focus on forensic evidence from the scenes as well as CCTV footage.

A wealth of witnesses have also come forward with first hand accounts of events, descriptions of the bombers and photographs of scenes.

Some said the attackers seemed "scared" or "surprised" when their bombs failed to explode properly.

Oval attack witness Kate Reid describe hearing a "pop" as if a big balloon had burst before seeing a young, dark-skinned man with a bag at his feet looking "really scared"."

A man spoke of the terrifying moment when he came face to to face with one of the suspected suicide bombers at Shepherd's Bush.

Business analyst Abisha Moyo said he heard a bang like a "pistol going off" and saw a fellow Tube passenger lying on the floor of their carriage.

He approached him and asked "are you all right, mate" but was then stunned to see the man was lying on top of a rucksack with smoke coming out.

The suspect then calmly left the rucksack behind, jumped on the tracks and walked away down the line, said Mr Moyo.

This comment here is where I stopped even considering taking you seriously.

You don't know the extent of my experience, so you assume.

Nice try, though. Have a nice evening or wee hours or whatever it is there. ;-)
