Shaky. It's the best that those people that require a materialistic mechanistic approach have, and they're quite capable of fighting dirty to keep it.
Darwinsim has always been dead. It's just taking a while for scientists to notice.
Evolution as a scientific explanation for the development and diversity of life is far from dead.
The Darwinian explanation for it - perhaps.
It is certainly very possible to believe in the Bible, in evolution, and in Intelligent Design by a Supreme Creator.
None of these concepts are mutually exclusive except in the minds of the fanatics on both sides of the issue.
