...The original request for DNA came on Thursday, yet the tape wasn't found until Sunday. They must have something else.

Aruba LE has acted so oddly, I wouldn't be surprised if the DNA request came on Thursday so they could arrange for whatever they planned to find on Sunday.

I hate being so suspicious but ALE hasn't got a great investigative or public relations track record. Must be all that low crime...maybe they aren't used to dealing with criminal investigations....

Well I'm kinda curious, since the Kalpoe's (and their mommie dearest) claim to be so innocent, why didn't they jump at the chance to give their DNA and prove it?

Maybe they fear being set up like they helped set up Micky John (sic?) and the other guard. I get the impression there is a "caste" system in Aruba. The two guards were the first to frame (one from Granada; I don't know where the other is from, or, for that matter, where he has gone!). Maybe the Kalpoe's are afraid they are not in the rarefied van der Sloot air and they are next?

Aruba Missing Teen-Reward

Beth Holloway Twitty, the mother of a missing Alabama teenager, today announced a 200-thousand dollar reward for the safe return of her daughter, Natalee Holloway.

There is also a reward of 100-thousand dollars for information leading to the 18-year-old's whereabouts.

The Mountain Brook teen disappeared May 30th in Aruba. She was on a high school graduation trip with dozens of her classmates.

On Tuesday, investigators said they obtained DNA samples from three men who've been linked to Natalee Holloway on the day she disappeared.

All three of the young men admit being with her that day, but deny any wrongdoing.

When TexKat reminded me of the fact that the DNA was being requested before the duct tape was found the first thing I thought was something was very strange about the whole thing. I'm hoping for the best here, but ALE doesn't promote a lot of confidence in me.
