If she should decide to visit BV , what time do yall guestimate? Before or after 5pm Tuesday? (just trying to plan my week:')
LOL...after 5pm Tuesday is my guess.
The last one I went thru came in at dark too. I hated that. Alicia (been awhile huh?)
When was Alicia?
The most vivid in my mind are Carla, Beulah, Allen, and Gilbert. Ran from 3 of those and rode Allen out in CC.
I was in Houston. 1982.
The last few frames looks like she is taking a left hook.

What are you looking at?
Alicia was spawned in the southern gulf in '83. It was the short period of time to landfall that caught most Houstonians unprepared, not to mention the close to 18 hours she stalled on the Galveston coast.TS Alison dumped a lot of water that caused death and destruction from rising water, freeways and underpasses left many autos completely submerged.
Oh yeah! I ran from that one too! I was living near Victoria at that time. Thanks for the memory jog, eastforker.
"I'm fairly sure we're in for stormy weather because ants are attempting to invade our home"
Chemical warfare is justifed.
It's been really quiet since I've been in the valley. One that went through the strip and then that really weak TS a couple of years ago about all for me.
I have been thur my 1st hail storm and WHITE CHRISTMAS since I've been down here though.
thanks
LOL. Allergies prevent my use of chemicals anymore than I must. I vaccum them up instead. They don't seem to survive the windstorm nor the trip thru the filter. Live ants go in, dead ants come out.
There are houses now but we used to have an empty field behind our house. You could tell when something up. Rats, snakes and rabbits would come visiting.
I use bleach. They don't seem to like it. I was thinking last night though that if she looks "promising" I should go get some screen to keep out flies and mosquitos if we have to open soors.
bookmark for morning update
Wouldn't removing some wood and opening screened windows be easier?
Hubby has his welder/generator ready for use should the power fail.
