Where's the scat!!
Any high school biology graduate would know that where there are beasts ( of earthbound nature ) there's scat. Excrement is evidence, dismiss the sightings they are words and imagination. If such creatures exist, on earth, there must be evidence of food consumption and a few 'dump' sites to confirm the habitat and where they are on the food chain - haven't seen any wookies at McD's have you?
There would also be one strapped to the hood of a redneck pickup one day. SOMEONE would have hit one and brought it in.
It's a widely known fact that Bigfeet don't evacuate. That's how they get so big. They are a billious lot.
It's also a widely known fact that if we aren't careful, we are going to kill them off through global warming. Bigfeet hate global warming.
Maybe they roam around with a plastic bag and pick up after themselves...
You know we all jest BUT if some big hairy critter shows up in the middle of the night on my place way out in the Ozark forest, there will be PLENTY of scat to analyze...!
