Have you ever noticed that people for NON-Southern states, especially BLUE ONES, don't tattoo their states names on themselves or bumper stickers and so on? Have you ever heard someone say, "YeeeHah! Massachusetts! ".......?....

I have seen plenty of people who are arrogant about being New Yorkers and wear "I 'heart' NYC" shirts, if that counts.

I don't blame them. I wouldn't want to either. ;-)

We have neighbors from Massachusetts, and they have a vanity license plate, proudly proclaiming their MA loyalty. They are nice enough people, but brains are not their strong suit. We have other neighbors who are from New York, and they love the whole New England area. They are also very nice people, and they do not seem to look down on the ignorant rednecks down the street. The most arrogant neighbors we have had were Texans. I liked them as well.

I've actually heard blue-state elitists say, "Beware of anyone with state pride."

Nobody says Yeehaw Massachusetts because most people wouldn't want to live in that screwed up state.

That's a Ted Kennedy thang and y'all can keep it.

Southernors to this day have a love of their state like no other citizen of any other state does. If you can't handle that, then I suggest you turn away and ignore them.

We ain't going away

I haven't seen any state name tattoos, I have seen the following bumper sticker quite a few times:

"Say ya to da U.P., eh!"
