Just a note about this upcoming period we have already been discussing, that which encompasses the anniversaries of the two Atomic bombs, and heading towards the 4th anniversary of 9/11.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned here, I have not been able to keep up with the whole thread..

August 6 is the beginning of the Jewish month Av.

The first nine days of the month are known as the 'Days of Mourning' in which Jews mourn the destruction of both Temples. This month does not typically fall so late in the year, but this is one of their leap-years.

A friend of mine was telling me that Av historically has seen several 'events' during the days of mourning, especially on the final day (8/14 this year).

I thought it was interesting that this period managed to time itself with everything else that has been discussed recently. It would seem to me that a hit against America, American Jews (NYC), or the state of Israel during this time period would fit well into several symbolic events/anniversaries.

We've looked at potential significant dates it seems a million ways from Sunday. However, this linkage to the 'Days of Mourning' are justifiable to cause pause and review the potential threat once again. I am not convinced that AQ or other terror threats have nukes here. However, I am not a prophet either and until we see evidence otherwise, it is best for all to stay alert to our surroundings.

Sharon delayed the disengagement three weeks to wait for Tisha B'Av (ninth of Av)to pass (8/14). It will be a target date for the Jewish terrorist groups (for every ying there must be a yang I suppose). It marks the anniversary of the destruction of both the first and second temples and I'd imagine they will put some serious security on temple mount about that time. Most of the settlers are good, law abiding folks. But a minority of them are dangerous - - hard-core, fanatical, religiously motivated killers. Same mindset as jihadis.

They believe they are acting on orders from God and they will stop at nothing to set off their own conception of "holy war" - - even if it means killing every last member of their own government, starting with Sharon. And while they believe they are trying to save the state of Israel, in deliberately tying up tens of thousands of security personnel, troops and internal security agents, they are exposing Israel to enormous external threat. And that is their very purpose and intent. Whether they start it by clearing Temple Mount, or they "clear the way" for the other side to start it - - they share at least one goal with the jihadis. They want to bring about a complete and total clash of civilizations no matter the price in human life.

I'm afraid this is going to be a gut wrenching month (AUG) for this country because I'm pretty convinced that if AQ is gonna do something catastrophic it will be during this significant time frame. IF they can do it, they will. That is of course, a very big and qualified IF! I'm not convinced the nuclear material is handy despite all the books I've read and intell I've gotten that might seem to suggest such....it remains just a possibility.

But, 'Zilla, while I agree with you on most all points, especially the comment on Iran, it would seem to me that OBL has his own agenda and he will make use of assets offered while ignoring any strings that may also be attached to such assistance. His first and foremost objective is the total destruction of our country (to start with) and the eradication of western civilization in favor of an Islamist theocracy for the world. He will act by whatever means he has available to accomplish that mission. His allies in extremeism will concur.

But the nation states like Iran will see this as putting the crosshairs of freedom onto them (which of course, it does...but OBL does not care)! They may see this too late and they may even regret the aid given to AQ, but they won't act against them to help us or any other western nation. IMHO, they've dealt the cards and placed their bets. Like it or not....they've got to go along for the rest of the ride....

My hurricane supplies are laid in and they will suffice for anything else that may crop up in the way of an emergency. If it's a real nuke here in Miami, I can only hope and pray that one of two things happens: Either I'm at ground zero (in which case, me and mine will watch the show from Heaven) or that Heaven comes for us FIRST (Rapture). Anything conventional and I'm prepared to deal with problems as they occur. Just like always.
