Don't you think we'd be seeing this right now in NYC if we had gotten the games yesterday? The terorists are here right now!!! I certainly hope that our security are on the ball.

Absolutely. The announcement yesterday was probably a trigger for terrorist cells in any of the cities.

I sincerely doubt this attack can be linked with the per chance fact that they got the Olympics in 2012. More likely it was related to G-8, or my favorite theory, it was just chosen as an easy to remember date. If you were to get a crew of ignorant individuals to jump on busses and blow themselves up wouldn't you choose an easy date to remember? The time? Oh, Rushhour. 7-7, 8:50. The target, UK, not G8, not Olympics, just downtown London much like Madrid or NYC.

Don't you think we'd be seeing this right now in NYC if we had gotten the games yesterday? This almost certainly has nothing to do with the Olympics -- an operation with this level of sophistication had to have been planned a long time in advance.

I think that the G8 meeting has more to do with it, too much planning involved.
