I'm still on vacation. Using my sister's slow pc. Will not be able to reply much today. Looks like the pending SCOTUS nomination is the topic this Sunday. Enjoy!!!!
Thanks for the thread...Plugs, Leaky and Hagel..oh, my!
Meet the Press certainly has a "balanced" lineup. LOL
Duncan Hunter is going to be the sole sane voice on that panel.
The usual suspects are back this week. Hope you are having a
wonderful vacation!
Isn't it nice of the Peacock channel to present both sides of the SCOTUS battle...Liberal Democrats and RINO Liberal Republicans.

Darn it, I'll be on the road, and will miss what might be shaping up as the most hilarious line-up of idiots ever fielded for a Sunday.
Hope all FReepers have a safe and patriotic holiday weekend, and remember our president and our troops.
"We expect the President to obey the Constitution and solicit the advice of Senators from both parties (blah blah blah) in order to choose a Supreme Court Justice who is in the mainstream (blah blah blah) and not an extremist like Scalia or Thomas (blah blah blah.)"
Okay, I just saved you three hours of your life. Go have a catch with your kids, light the barbecue or read a book. You won't hear anything but the talking points from the lefties (for a change.)
Oh My .. Looks like Bush Bash Fest on MTP
rolling eyes

It is "abuse of power" for the president to pick whomever he pleases to fill the Supreme Court position. Will also attempt to further redefine "advise and consent".
Republicans don't have the right people out there today for this. Incredulity should be the Republican response of the day. Since when is it an abuse of power for the president to carry out his constitutional responsibility?
Our Independence is dependent upon the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. I salute and thank them for allowing American to celebrate its 229th birthday.
With Republican majorities in the House, Senate, governorships and the Presidency, Senator Kennedy will declaim as his "BS de Resistance" that Americans want Supreme Court justices who are mainstream libs.
Mrs Greenspan is hosting MTP instead of Timmy
Another reason to avoid MTP...Andrea Mitchell. Ugh.
I was thinking the same thing. MTP gets to say it had balance since it has (R)s as guests, but is it really fair and balanced when the (R)s are RINOs?
thanks for the heads up
