Her resignation letter to Bush just read on FOX. She will remain until her replacement is confirmed and appointed. Wonder how many years she is willing to give???

Seven of the nine were appointed by a Republican President. Hopefully, GWB does a better job this time. We need to stop judicial activism now.

Tony talking about it on his show now - mccain up next. Tony says the nominee will not be Alberto - he was supposed to be on today, but cancelled at the last minute due to this.

Can anyone guess how long until GWB nominates someone? I can't imagine that he hasn't thought about his already.
What has been her record on issues? I she mostly left or right?

Well, you've pretty much described Janice Rogers Brown, my personal favorite, but I suspect the nominee will be either Emilio Garza or Miguel Estrada leaning toward Garza.
To: SueRae
Wow. This is a good thing. An opportunity.
But the collegiality of the Senate is now in jeopardy...

I'm sort of curious; what exactly is wrong about Gonzales? I haven't heard much about him.LOL! The talking head on ABC just said that "'Gonzales' is the Spanish translation of 'Souter'".
To: twin2
I give the President plenty of room with decision-making, but on this nomination, I want the petal to the metal, the whole enchilada....I want a true constitutional conservative. Nothing less will do, and I think I'm not standing here alone.
Exactly! Did the Pubs put up much of fight when Ginsberg got in. Jeez!
