I missed the exact numbers, but Costas just read the results of a CNN/AP flash poll that had very good numbers for the president. so good..... Costas said the pollsters thought it important to mention most of the respondents were republican.

Weather you like president Bush or not, nobody can say he is a waffler, he stuck to his guns and refuses to get into the mud with his foe's on the other side of the Isle. This gives them the false confidence that they can ratchet up the rhetoric, and they do, he still ignores them and the ratchet it up more. Eventually the Democrats can't help themselves and their true hatred for this country and the Military is exposed and they are left twisting in the wind. Still. he doesn't respond to them. As they are in their "Death Throes" he still remains on the high road and they are no longer coherent, just a bunch of frothing at the mouth powerless losers.

I think when Dick Cheney remarked about the insurgency being in their "Death Throes" he was actually speaking about the Democrats :-)
