Yes I've seen him out there talking about energy and SS. but big woop. Sadly people don't care about those things. We need our president to care about what WE care about.
He has always been able to take on these liberals. I am not wanting him to do anything he hasn't done before. Telling the lying press and libs to grow up and shape up is not getting into the gutter. It's leadership and fatherly. That's what we need more of.

Yeah I noticed even the NYT has given up on their fake outrage of the Rove comments.

But I'm still waiting to see if President Bush tonight rips into cowardly Dems and the private property stealing SCOTUS.

Hell I'd settle for 1 out of 2 at least.

The only thing I can think of that Bush needs to handle better is ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. He currently has a failing grade in that area.

And then there's the eminent domain thing...too early to judge Bush, but he NEEDS to CONDEMN this decision.

Still, Bush was the better candidate. I'd rather have him instead of Kerry.

You may think it's no big woop

But there are people that do care about them .. just as they care about the WOT, Iraq and other issues

There are people out there that are not one issue voters

Yep, been some strong odors emanating out of the woodwork lately, and "Troolaanus" is particularly a horrid stink. ;^)

Excellent, it means he is leading, not following. We had a poll president for 8 years in the 90's. We don't need another one.

Polls will not diminish attendance at Red State Rallies.

The only reason democrats in DC go to Bush speeches is because cameras are present.

I think this CNN (new tone new tone) story which follows the same old pattern of CNN, is going to be used by democrats who have NOTHING to argue.

Approval is down so no private accounts.
Approval is down so no conservative judges
Approval is down so troops must surrender
Approval is down so we must raise taxes
Approval is down so we must fund more AIDS
Approval is down so we must increase PBS funding

I think the Republicans are kinda like a kid who is afraid of the bully down the street until one day the kid meets the bully and finds out he is just a puss. The Karl Rove speech was to me, testing those waters. It could get interesting with the SCOTUS vacancies coming up.

"And what would you have him handle differently?"

Are you asking me? Or the people who disapprove? i think the latter would like him to set a timetable to withdraw the troops, as a new poll revealed.

Latest Conference Board survey rises to a 3-year high in June; May revised higher. This coupled by a surge in Army recruting in June would be excellent.

So, while the Democrats proclaim Bush's second administration a failure, they ignore the compromise on social security which will give Bush a win and leave the Democrats with mud on their faces.

Well I don't think immigration, SC rulings, judges and liberal lies, WOT, gitmo, are one issue views. People are passionate about these things. As you notice I said SADLY people are not so about energy and SS. I am not stupid and of course these are important but look at the list of what Americans care about. These are not at the top of the list.

In mid Oct 2000 CNN measured the Impeached Rapist's approval rating at 59%. /http://archives.cnn.com/2000/ALLPOLITICS/stories/10/16/cnn.poll/ The Rapist's VP lost a squeaker. That is not a strong argument against those who believe there was a fraud on those elections.

Fortunately that same group of yours (who likely can't identify the three branches of government or what differentiates the roles of SecDef and SecState) is not in charge of America's national security interests. Knowledgeable people are.

Of course it is. The 1960 election was veiled under fraud accusations, although those accusations were much more believable than the Dem/media stench manufactured in 2000 (and extremely weakly in 2004). But I didn't bring the element of fraud into it. You did, my newly found friend. I was demonstrating that Barney's assertion is not backed up by historical data.
