Code Pink leader Jodie Evans, in a blog posted from the World Tribunal on Iraq, today gave her open support to the terrorists in Iraq who are killing American soldiers and Iraqis
While some may wonder, "is this news?" it is, indeed. Code Pink has been very careful over the past three years to maintain a front of being a peace group. In fact, it's complete name is Code Pink Women for Peace. The veil slipped when co-leader Medea Benjamin shot her mouth off in Jordan last December when she proclaimed the group was giving $600,000 in cash and aid to the families of "the other side" in Fallujah.
Recently, Code Pink has been holding weekly Friday night vigils at the main gate to Walter Reed Army Medical Center to express their phony support for the men and women recuperating from their war wounds. I wonder how the soldiers and families at Walter Reed will take the news that the pink sign holding people have given their support to the terrorists in Iraq.
The D.C. Chapter will be sure to tell them at our next patriotic counter-demonstration there.

We must begin by really standing with the Iraqi people and their right to resist. I can remain myself against all forms of violence, and yet I cannot judge what someone has to do when pushed to the wall to protect all they love. What does the Iraqi resistance have to lose? They are fighting for their country, to protect their families and to preserve all they love. They are fighting for their lives, and we are fighting for lies. It is so amazingly obvious; we must get out of Iraq now. They will rebuild their country, it will take time, a long time, but they cannot start until we are gone.
Code Pink now joins ANSWER as publicly endorsing the terrorists. This has been a sticking point between ANSWER on one side and Code Pink and United for Peace and Justice on the other. I expect them all to support the terrorists publicly by the time Sept. 24-26 rolls around in Washington, D.C.
The leftists are planning "non-violent direct action and civil disobedience" in D.C. on Monday Sept. 26. When they tried that two years ago, the D.C. police swiftly disrupted their plans by arresting leftist protesters demonstrating without a permit. Since then, successful lawsuits were filed against the D.C. police and the D.C. City Council passed a law severely restricting the cops' ability to preserve law and order in the city when protests get out of hand.
Code Pink will be there and I'm sure their terrorist allies will be cheering them on.

There is something just so frighteningly fragile about Bill Frist. From our perspective out across the nation - we strong Republicans - it really does look as though we've handed these wretched Democrats the reins of power, now that we're in all of the drivers' seats........and that just perplexes and frustrates me.

We all know some Saudis are fueling the insurgency. Just like we know that some Americans - such as yourself - are fueling the insurgency. In your case it's with propaganda as opposed to money (I hope).

I mention this only because as is the case with this story, it's amazing to see all these "just folks" commenting on the war who don't seem to have a clue, or are so unthreatening to viewers that they get away with anti-American crap like this woman and get away with it as being 'just another opinion, as valid as any other'.
These Code Pink people are the Father Coughlins of our time.
Iraq has got to clean up Iraq's own mess- the problem is that they do not have the resources to do that at this point.
We need to help the Iraqis who have the passion and drive to take back their country and be responsible for it its upkeep.
That way they feel they earned it- they fight to keep it AND it was not handed to them ( they do have pride). IT lets the Iraqs save face- blows the libs out of the water and everyone is happy. We have a working relationship established- Terrorism is on the run and American lives are sparred.
There is a reason why we have the best military in the entire world- these guys know what they are doing- they are not idiots.
Everyone in their right mind knows we could have a short term win and blow many of the Iraqis and the mid-east off the face of the earth.
But that is the stupid thing to do- and shows a lack of a desire to win for the long term good of this country.
Rumsfeld is not a liar- and you owe your comfy life to Rumsfeld and our troops .
They are rockin' the world Missyme- and it has been about three years now.
How dare you claim they aren't doing it fast enough for you.

I don't understand how they can be so 'in the know', to know who 'the other side' is. Sounds like 'aiding the enemy' to me. Or maybe their spending someone's hard earned cash (maybe some of ours), to convince the Fallujians(sp?) and other Iraqis, that they are better off with the ones who don't mind killing them, than the one's who are trying to protect them and help them rebuild their country.

Hello?!!! Why is everyone sooo upset about the Code Pink people? What is so surprising? If you can't get Hanoi Jane for treason and you have the Traitor Kerry RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT...why would you be at all surprised about code Pink?
