Have any of those wussies in the Brady Campaign ever held a firearm in their soft little hands? Probably not. Like all gun-grabbers, they never let some minor thing like knowledge of a subject interfere with their rhetoric.
The Brady Campaign website links to the Stop The NRA website. That's all I need to know.

They probably have. Most of them are "Guns for me, not for you".

... "Now manufacturers are kicking it up and we're seeing things like fingerprint-proof resistant grips," he said. "That's clearly to attract a niche that's not your regular duck hunter." You know, like duck hunters who wear gloves to keep warm when they're standing hip-deep in a pond waiting for ducks.
... Other than that, good point!

We have come a long way from 1961 when Tom Dodd and Emanual Cellar proposed a nation wide gun law to...
Register all handguns. Long guns would not be affected.
A ban on the import of 5 shot bolt action army surplus rifles because they unfairly competed with Remmington, Winchester, Savage, and others.
No confiscations of registered handguns promised.
Now we see calls for handgun bans, long gun bans(so-called assault rifles), single shot .50 cal rifle bans.
They lied to us in 1961 and they are lying to you now.

the problem is, she is NOT an idiot - she is a highly skilled demagogic LIAR whose constituents are idiots.

I have wanted an FN-P90 since I first saw one on Stargate SG-1. How does that weapon shoot? Is it terribly accurate?
What does it do that a 5.56 caliber rifle would not?

Check www.deltaforce.com and www.cheaperthandirt.com
Also, you may want to take a swipe at ebay. Sometimes you can find a gem there.

Razor sharp, razor fast. Gud for short range cutting things down and super gud penetration. Not bad single shot to 50yds.

I want to get one while I still can. I might never shoot the damn thing...

It's a nice rifle, but getting ammo is a problem. My wife has a FiveSeven. A 50 round box of practice ammo will set you back $60. We were paying on $19 a box when she first purchased it. I can shoot factory 440 gr S&W 500 Magnum ammo cheaper than this cartridge. It is a matter of supply and demand. The 5.7mmX28mm is just a downloaded .22 cal cartridge. There is no excuse for the high prices. It's not going to get much time at the range.

What does it do that a 5.56 caliber rifle would not?5.56 is common and dirt and cheap. 5.7X28 is rare as hen's teeth. The only advantage of 5.7X28 is having a 20 round semi-auto pistol with a 20 round mag in a form factor the size of a 1911 .45ACP. In that configuration, it can punch the standard body armor used by a LEO. The .45 just leaves a nasty bruise. It's not bad too shoot at the range, but I'm reticent to waste the $$$. I have too many other calibers that are better performers and cheaper to shoot.

And she has buds in the Senate like Schumer, Clinton, Kennedy, Kerry, and Boxer, just to name a few. As long as those clowns are in positions of authority our Second Amendment rights are not safe.

"What's most disturbing, he said, is that the free-flowing U.S. marketplace for military-style rifles comes as gang violence is reaching horrific levels."Why not just send the illegal gang members back to the countries they came from as opposed to banning weapons to all Americans contrary to the 2nd Amendment?
To: Dan from Michigan
There you will find ads for semiautomatic rifles and pistols looking like something out of a war zone, with clips holding 30 or 40 cartridges many features that 11 months ago U.S. manufacturers could not include and gun stores could not sell.
Not so. High capacity magazines remained legal and saleable during the ban--they just had to be manufactured before its effective date. I know. I bought a VEPR II, an AK derivative, during the period of the ban and four 30 round magazines.
To: mountainlyons
By now anybody who studies the issue carefully discovers there's a strong inverse relationship between legal gun ownership and crime. As far as I'm concerned, the more gun saturated America becomes, the happier and more serure I become.
To: libstripper
The NRA had some statistics somewhere that when 120,000 concealed carry permits were issued the crime rate dropped big time. More legal guns, Less crime!
