I am in S.C., and there is absolutely no indication to support his statement, unless you subscribe to Lindsey's newest bestest buddy, the State newspaper or other liberal rags. I was skeptical of this, ahem, "gentleman" when he ran, and never understood conservatives' fascination with him. I think in the last few months he has demonstrated why we need to replace him in '08. Maybe he'll do us all a favor and resign to run on the Hillary ticket.

Graham is political toast in 08. Wonder when he will realize this fact because conservatives have made it clear that he's going home as a private citizen in a few short years.
To: The Anti-Democrat
Senator Graham is clearly moving to the MSM's idea of the "center". He thinks he's gonna be McCain's choice for VP in '08. He'd better be right because a lotta people in S Carolina are gonna remember this.

I'm in SC too and absolutely disagree with Graham. But then, he's a liar and I'm not surprised he's trying to mimic McCain.

Liz at the AP unsurprizingly doesn't mention Rumsfeld's answer to that liberal talking point. I paraphrase.
When the wind begins blowing you have 2 choices either get up turn and go with the wind, or you can stand up face the wind and continue to you destination. That's what leadership is for.

I cannot imagine that Graham is right about very conservative, freedom loving S. Carolina.

Typical media phenomenon. The media reports things are bad, then polls the people, then reports that the people think things are bad. Voila, issue swings whichever way the media chooses.
It's a BS tactic, and our Senators are either in favor of it (the tactic -OR- the underlying issue), or not bright enough to see through it.

Sounds like he is waiting to take over for McCain so he can be McMedia's favorite Republican.

What's this guy's background??
Was he ALWAYS a Republican, or did he become a Republican of convenience? He sounds like a yellow-bellied liberal to me, more and more.
I hope the good people of South Carolina flush him down the bowl next primary time. We don't need another John McCain.

Please fix the headline. It should read:Graham says support for himself waning in S.C.
To: The Anti-Democrat
Graham is going to find out that support for his re-election is going to be waning.
