Transmission fluid is sweet. Maybe, for some reason, they put it in her drink and killed her? After all, it kills cats and dogs who lick it off the driveway.

Maybe this is the thing Deepak had to "fix" (work on) after he got home from work. Maybe he has worn out his transmission in his car and need to put some fluid in it.

also note that a mattress was found along the beach in the Marriot area that had Transmission fluid on it (transmission fluid is red like the color of blood)
not likely it used for tanning lotion
could it have been used to cover blood stains?
