hi dan, have been keeping up with your blog along the way and have to say thank you so much for all that you are doing to get the word about about natalee holoway. i am a native birminghamian (having grown up in mountain brook), now living in new york city. since it seems as though so few people from birmingham are talking i wanted to make your readers aware of some of the latest buzz going around the "tiny kingdom"...hope some of this helps...
our family has a tailor in birmingham - who is known by nearly everyone who's anyone in birmingham, a sort of "tailor of birmingham." as he dresses most of the affluent residents - from the infamous richard scrushy to the pastor of briarwood church (one of the largest churches in the US). he is the eyes and ears and a great source of information....
my uncle was in the tailor's shop earlier this week and got into a discussion about natalee holloway with in which the tailor told my uncle that the mayor of birmingham, who had also been by the shop earlier, informed him that the holloway family has already paid a ransom to natalee's captors, but has yet to receive her, although they are confident that officials are working to get her back very, very soon. this tailor's brother in law is originally from suriname (where the suspect brothers are from) and says that the island is a notorious port through which women are kidnapped and then shipped off to such far eastern locales as bankok and indonesia. being a native of suriname, he feels quite confident that this is exactly what happened to natalee and she is still alive.
you may already know most of this and i'm sure you have loads of emails to answer, but i thought i'd pass along whatever tips i have. i praise God for people like you who are working so hard to get the truth out. may God continue to bless you in your efforts. congrats on all of your great press thus far and please continue to keep us posted.

You know what's so funny about that? I was going to mention to you tonight that I think Beth Holloway is the person to listen to for what is coming up in this case because she's been right about everything so far.
And I heard either she or her sister this night saying that they thought she was alive and that "they are moving her around from place to place."
Did anybody else hear that?
Very interesting posts from Riehl World. I wouldn't be surprised if the ranson is true. If true, I so hope it works. This might explain why the interest by Senator Shelby and others, plus the FBI.
Also, as I've mentioned before, the C & C Bar of Aruba was mentioned in the Amy Bradley case. That's a biggie. I'm watching the re-run of Larry King. Natalee's Dad and Step-mom seem to think someone has her and she is alive. I think, they might believe the Dad of Juran is the King Pin in this case. Hopefully if the Dad knows anything, he will stop the games and tell them who has Natalee and she will be returned to her family, safe and sound.
No, they haven't. They know more than likely their daughter is dead. The only reason they aren't going to admit it on camera is because they are having a hard time just getting up each morning. They have to have hope or they couldn't go on. They are trying to focus on finding Natalee and taking her home (they really mean her body). They would be overjoyed to find Natalee alive but it's not really expected. What you don't see on camera is Natalee's family falling apart which they do in privacy at night when everyone else goes to bed. The face you see on camera is pure determination.
The search team starts tomorrow. The family will be having a tougher time once they start searching. They are expecting to find her. Juran had better hope he did a damn good job of getting rid of the body as should his father.

Holy smokes! No wonder Beth is so adamant about her being alive, if true.
