It is not just from today... I guess I am reaching my boiling point with with people who pop in and out of the thread when they can and they want "b&w proof" for everything if someone brings up something that has already been discussed in the past.

People don't understand there are 3 of us that have been on these threads from the beginning. We also hunt other forums and blogs for info and rumors and we bring the stuff back here. I try to post just to these 2 other people as I know they know as much as I do, but then someone comes in asking questions about a post I made to these 2 people. I try to answer, but it seems I am always called out on what I write.
My posts mainly are meant for the other 2 people that have been following the case nearly 24 hours a day and who are also getting information from other sources. (all the links are at the header of the thread). For those who are not as involved in the case as I am, please don't expect me to back up things. I have no reason to hand out false info, but I am not going to back track to where I got the info from as chance are I will not be able to find it again, even if it was just an hour ago.

I was reading the threads from the beginning but I did not post when people on fr where still in the blame Natalee, blame Natalee parents, blame the chaperone's, etc, but I was here reading and taking in info.

Also the thread is for discussion of Natalee's case, it is not about Tom Cruise, Michael Jackson, or other missing person cases. You would have to go back and read all the threads to see when people decided to get off the topic for periods of time that resulted in 20 or MORE posts that did not relate to the Natalee Holloway Case. People come here to read about her case, not other cases. That is why I keep posting links to these other cases when people start changing the topic of the Natalee threads.

I mean people would not like it if someone or a bunch of people go on a Tom Cruise thread and start posting about Natalee on that thread.

Sure it is fine to mention another story on the Natalee thread, but people should just post a link to the other story and everyone who want to follow that other story should move on over to the other thread.

I don't "own" the Natalee threads, but I am here most of the time nowadays, someone needs to help keep the thread on topic. I am also not here to prove everything in B&W to people about what I post. If people watched and paid attention to Greta's show then they would have seen and heard what I did. I have no way to prove it, unless someone else backs up what I say or there is a word for word transcript out there or video online. I clearly said last night that this was Greta's show and then I said it again today.

So yes I am getting testy after all this (I have not even brought up all the private emails I get on top of it all) and maybe it is time I just follow the case on my own and avoid the Natalee threads all together. - Maybe I should take my own advise and let everyone banter with each about what they heard or read about the case and when the thread gets off topic for a period of time, then you all can deal with it and weed through the the off topic posts, big pictures/graphics and so on.

That's my rant and maybe it is time for me to step away from the Natalee threads since people cannot understand where I am coming from and why I am so testy because I know I will just continue to get testy in the future with some Freepers who are not following the case like I am and the other 2 people are.

I have clearly said that anyone may use my Natalee thread header to start a new Natalee thread with at anytime. (so keep that in mind if I just disappear from the Natalee threads in the future.)

I'm sure everyone appreciates your efforts, brigette. I haven't seen anyone really ask for proof but freepers have asked where you heard something or when and that's common and to be expected.

As well, on all long standing threads like this one, other topics come up that interest other freepers and we post Off Topics. It's just the way it is and the way it's been ever since I've been here.

Brigette, I want to be sure I understand your position. Do you want this thread to be just for posting info, with no speculation or discussion? If you do, that's fine, you have done a wonderful job of putting together all this info! If that is what you want, maybe the thread should be labeled such?

Again, thanks for making it possible for me to have a life AND keep up with this case!

Look, you started this thread, and we've all fallen over backwards to thank you it. OTOH, you want to control the discussion when we occasionally lighten up and stray off topic and that is not your place to chastise us.

I didn't realize that you were only posting to TWO others, and using this thread for that purpose alone. I guess the rest of us are just peons? If this is the case, you should have told us, and we would start another thread where you wouldn't feel like we were intruding on your space.

You stay here. I've got your six. I've been here for 2 weeks typing with one hand. These jerks are just being spoilers. They're all members of the FREEPERPOLICE whose sole purpose in life is to make others feel bad so they can feel good about themselves. When they're so busy pointing out others perceived flaws they don't have time to look at their own.
