I was talking today with a woman whose daughter had been to Aruba a year ago. She was assaulted and went to the police. They asked her why she was wearing so little clothing, why she didn't have a male escort with her. The attitude of the police was that she was a complete fool to be walking around half naked without a husband or boyfriend to protect her. You look at how American teenage girls dress like Britney Spears and think they are just advertising for some creep to assault them.

Since under Aruban law, they can keep them in jail for a considerable time before charging them with a crime, you'd think a 17 or 18 or even someone 21 would break after a while. The ex cops/feds who were on Fox earlier today seemed to think a confession was only a matter of time. And maybe that's why the FBI sent one of their guys home today, they knew enough inside stuff to feel the LE were on the right track and capable of wrapping this up. If and when they charge one or more with murder and have a confession of sorts, it would be more diplomatic if the FBI were off island.

So let's put 2 & 2 together....bet ya' it came from Natalee's Mom's 90 minute conversation with Joran's parents. Beth gleened some info then she gave it to either the police or her Aruban Attorney ... anyway it was turned over to the police. That's why she didn't keep the 3PM appointment yesterday...she knew what was probably up and knew she'd gotten an or some inconsistencies from Joran's Dad.

I could not believe this young lady at work today. I really appreciate the fact that a lot of companies today have the business casual dress code. If you are female and work within a corporate office you know it is much nicer to be a bit relaxed. However you at times find some individuals that take advantage and could spoil it for everyone.
Well this particular young lady was wearing a pair of hiphugger slacks, and a top that stopped above her belly button.

I think she'll make it somewhere. Her numbers are better than Paula Zahn's, not great but better.
