She's a disruptor.
Some did & some did not stay away. Maybe the definition of (friends) has morphed to an all new meaning in today's society.
Hopefully this investgation will be completed soon? The outcome, we hope blind justice will prevail. No one above or below the law.
My allegorical perspective to this case in alluding to (Beth Hollaway) "Evil Only Triumphs When Good Men & Women Do Nothing" Beth has been a catalyst in moving this investigation along. I salute that Lady, One determined and unstoppable (American Woman) Greta is doing her part also. NSNR
Something seems wrong about this roller coaster treatment of PVdS. One day their giddy with interest and excitement over his detention, then poof! a visiting judge rules he must be released. Is that visiting judge where the fix could possibly be in? Is that how the Arubans get out of the box they are in? Time will tell, but this roller coaster makes no sense to me, none whatsoever.
:) I would think if she has time to disrupt, and wade through so much speculation that annoys her, she could find the time to surf.
Mark for later
Sorry...their = they're
My gloom comes from what I have been able to figure out about the legal system there. The only hope at this point is with the Texas Equusearch group.
We can only pray they find her body, for if I understand that legal system, no body means no prosecution.
I'm not sure. Following the kidnap theory, it might've been an atm deposit.
He's a weak man.
Wow, Nita, that was one good read! And it could easily be close to the truth. I didn't realize that PVDS had invested 15 years in trying to become a judge.... Good googa mooga! The man was probably freaking out when he found out his life, as planned, had gone down the toilet by flunking out. And as you so intuitively pointed out, his bread winner status had come to an end & he was probably desperate for $$$$$$'s.
Judge Nepolitano on FNC said the other day that Aruban law, being based on Dutch law, has the POTENTIAL of prosecuting a murder case without a body, because in a single case the "Mother Country" once did successfully prosecute a case without a body. Only one time, but apparently there's no law that says they cannot prosecute without a body, it's just that in Aruba it has never been done. But he claimed that if it was once done by the Dutch, in theory it could also be done in Aruba.
My concerns go beyond the body issue...even if there were a body, if they could not tie the suspects in forensically with the murder, for sure the lot of them will be let off. That is my concern.
If there were a body and forensics and public pressure, then they would be on the spot to bring a case.
So my concerns about this roller coaster treatment of Paul is that, beyond the body issue, they wanted to make it look like they were tough on him, but now, oh dear, we can't help it, the visiting judge let him go.
In other words, we tried, it's not our fault.
Geraldo said the affadavits they showed the judge had inconsistencies in them, and he ruled that these inconsistencies negated the evidence they were presenting. How convenient(if true).
"So what's the point?">>>
Sorry but are you really this dense? It's a game, a real life murder mystery game. Didn't you ever play Clue? This is fun but at the same time it is deathly serious and we are all hoping for a good outcome but fearing the worst.
PING to my # 2472. Sorry, brigette, I intended to post this to both you and jaquej, but left you off.
ummm...since when do Freepers have to answer to you for their interest in or posting on any given thread? good grief.

Detained judge in Holloway case being released
The authorities better come up with at least one perp very, very soon or this will continue to be a nightmare for Aruba.
He's already been released.
I saw him leaving in the
backseat of a polis car.
