Judge Nepolitano on FNC said the other day that Aruban law, being based on Dutch law, has the POTENTIAL of prosecuting a murder case without a body, because in a single case the "Mother Country" once did successfully prosecute a case without a body. Only one time, but apparently there's no law that says they cannot prosecute without a body, it's just that in Aruba it has never been done. But he claimed that if it was once done by the Dutch, in theory it could also be done in Aruba.

My concerns go beyond the body issue...even if there were a body, if they could not tie the suspects in forensically with the murder, for sure the lot of them will be let off. That is my concern.

If there were a body and forensics and public pressure, then they would be on the spot to bring a case.

So my concerns about this roller coaster treatment of Paul is that, beyond the body issue, they wanted to make it look like they were tough on him, but now, oh dear, we can't help it, the visiting judge let him go.

In other words, we tried, it's not our fault.

Geraldo said the affadavits they showed the judge had inconsistencies in them, and he ruled that these inconsistencies negated the evidence they were presenting. How convenient(if true).
