Well it raised suspicion in my mind, it is an important factor in my mind. PVDS had seen and possibly had contact with Natalee Sunday evening. Joran was there also in the bar area.

LOL...perhaps I miscommunicated, or there is some misunderstanding, if so I apologize. I do not think I said Satish called Deepak. I thought I wrote : Joran called Deepak, (but maybe he could have called Satish...one of the brothers was called by Joran). Satish went to pick up Deepak (whether it was a pre-arranged, usual time, or Deepak called his brother from work and said "I'm done, come get me" I do not know.) But, Satish picked up Deepak (we agree on that) and they went to give Joran a "lift" as his mother said. So Joran must have communicated with Deepak or Satish and then together they went to Joran's house. His mother is the one who reported that is what her sons said.
Beth Holloway showed up at the VS home the next day..within 24 hours..just trying to figure out why Beth is so convinced her daughter was there
I get it, brigette, I think...the curfew thing is interesting...if Joran had already broken curfew so recently by sneaking out to meet Natalee at C&C, then why would Paul just casually drop in this, oh, you're looking for Joran, well he's at the Casino, WHEN IT WAS THREE A.M. for pity sake??!!

Also interesting that Paul might or might not have picked Joran up at McDonald's at 11 pm Sunday evening, that there is no proof of it, b/c if he invented that story then we gotta ask why, and what WAS Paul (or Joran for that matter) doing prior to Joran showing up at C&C with Deepak and Satish?
I have been too busy to get all the details, but on the news I have seen the prosecutor on Aruba seems to be suspecting Paul of some kind of involvement in helping with a crime, but not perpetrating it originally, and the media seems to be pushing the idea that he is not being looked at as an originator of any crime.
Is that what is happening?
Your thought processes raise questions about him in that regard, which, so far, others don't seem to be doing.
If I put myself in Beth's shoes, the first thing I would do is track down the person my daughter was last known to be with....
Has it been reported and/or confirmed that PVDS actually met Natalee or just that PVDS was in the casino with Joran?
You can bet, if a specific thing at the VDS home convinced her that Natalee was or had been there, Beth has told the investigators about it. Whatever it was, if it had any validity, it has by now become part of the investigation and ties into the detention of PVDS.
I have only read it from posters on various sites. I do not believe that I have read any confirmation of this.

I don't feel Beth thought Natalee was at the vdS house Tuesday morning. I think she felt her "presence," she meant in in a spiritual sense.
This is just an opinion.
If the police arrested both J and Papa on kidnapping and premeditated murder, then could J and Papa have been on that beach with a struggling N, when the witness saw them? Was that J and his Papa? The premeditated angle plus kidnapping means she was deliberately taken against her will and then killed, and the police think Papa helped at least with the kidnapping, maybe even with murder. I thought posters were reaching yesterday when they talked of Papa busting loose with J while his wife was away, but maybe that's what happened. Maybe this wasn't a case of simply helping to cover up his son's involvement, but his own.
I refuse to speculate that Paul VDS premeditated any meeting with Natalee. That is too far out..for even me to suggest. But if people want to go there, I'm cool with the discussion.
Aruba hasn't given us crap concerning their evidence or reasoning behind holding Pappa VDS, and that is what is the most frustrating and annoying part of all of this.
But if LE wanted to build a fictitious case against Pappa VDS, all they have to do is read this thread.
