Vanity: Prayer requested for friend

Hi:
It is rare that I post, but today I want to ask for your prayers for a dear friend of mine. His wife is hospitalized with several idiopathic illnesses, pneumonia, and high fever. To date, she has been in hospital for 12 days. She is weak, and recovery is not happening thusfar.
I am asking for prayers for not only Dolores, but also for her family right now....they are exhausted and worried and disheartened.
I know the power of prayer, and especially Freeper prayer. Thank you in advance.

My 3-year-old and I turned off cartoons and said a prayer for Dolores. I believe that when children pray, the angels intercede on their behalf. My boy prays so cheerfully and with such focus. It humbles me to be his Daddy.

It just struck me that our FR practice of calling thse prayer threads "vanities" is inappropriate.
Prayer is never "in vain"!
