FRAMINGHAM -- Wendy Cobb said she thought she was going to die when she was tossed from a Dumpster she was scouring for cans into the rear of a garbage truck.
"I came inches away from having no life," said Cobb, 38. "I was yelling, kicking, screaming, doing everything I could to get the driver's attention. I was screaming, 'Help me, help me.' There wasn't anything I could do. I'm very upset. I'm emotionally upset."

I'll bet she's collected enough cans to hire a hotshot lawyer.
Riiight, obviously an experienced scam artist.
"I'm on disability because of my back, and I can't even do my physical therapy."
Cobb said she is unemployed because of her bad back and lives with a boyfriend. She said she does not collect cans often, unless she needs extra cash for gas.
Too disabled to work, but her back is strong enough to dumpster dive.
Sounds like insurance fraud to me.

Just a thought, if you knew Dick Durbin was in the dumpster and the trash truck arrived to empty it....would you tell the driver about the special trash in said dumpster?
Darn right...She's going to lose that disability check.
If she's recovering tin beer cans with a 5 cent deposit AND the dumpster was nearly empty, she was going to wind up with a dollar?? Wonder if this chick has a record??
"All clear ... load away"
Wonder what her cell phone records show....like a phone call FROM her boyfriend when the truck pulled up. Who warned the driver that someone was in there...or did she jump out from NEAR the dumpster??
Hmmmm..... I wonder what the sticker you see on EVERY dumpster that reads "do not occupy this container for any purpose" means??
She has no case - driver should have pushed the button and saved everybody the hassle.
In my college days, I worked in a law firm as a file clerk. One day I came across a letter written by one attorney, and in it was a phrase about how her client had had a vehicular accident in his vehicle.
Another attorney heard me laughing about the ridiculous redundancy, and because I - a lowly file clerk - dared to ridicule one of her class-superior fellow attorneys, I damn near got drummed out of the firm. Wouldn't have been any great loss, but in that job I saw more than my share of unbelievably arrogant humans.
<distraught> All this talk is very, very upsetting to me. </distraught>
Now, now Dumpsy, no need to get upset. You and I don't dive for anything as boring as cans :-)
record of very poor grades and attendance would be my best guesses.
My favorite Boot Camp myth was the story about the Airman and the WAC getting caught "making it" in a dumpster.
