I heard that. I think he's the retired Aruban LE guy who wrote an article about how "the family" should be taking polygraphs. (His name sounded familiar -- I'm pretty sure that was him).
When I read his article (twice over 3 or 4 days) last week, I thought he was talking about the VDS family. It was hard to follow, but I assumed he was talking about the VDS family. But after hearing him awhile ago, HE WAS TALKING ABOUT THE HOLLOWAY FAMILY.
Honestly. I heard him say it once, but thought I misheard. I stopped what I was doing so I could listen better, then the Fox person went to the 2nd guy. When the Fox person came back to the 1st man, the retired LE guy, he SAID IT AGAIN.
As God is my witness. And I wouldn't believe unless I heard it myself.
Elio something or the other.
Yup. He said it twice! I'm sure there is lots of resentment about the scrutiny they are getting ...tough luck.
But I'd like to know more about this scumbag.
You heard him right, blub. The interviewer was asking him if, as a retired policeman, he was familiar with the VanDerSloot family; what did he know about them, etc. Jamie Colby asked, in hopes of getting some background on Joran and his previous scrapes with the law.
Well, the sneaky bastard (he must have told Jamie's previewers a lie to get on the show) turned it around to saying that the Holloway family should be investigated and given lie detector tests.
Colby lost control of her guest. He was spouting a Vander Sloot defense line (blaming the victims), and was probably paid by those evil Snoots to weasel his way onto FOX TV with this spiel.
Colby stinks as a Big Story investigative reporter. Get the hook.
