Why has the FBI been kept
out of the investigation
in Aruba these past weeks?

They have not been permitted
to sit in on any of the
questioning down there.

Aruba law is keeping the FBI
at bay & not giving them any
info.

Also, Aruba court hearings are
secret. Only the accused, a
judge and attorneys (prosecutors,
defense attorneys) are allowed in
the hearings. This was stated on
FNC this morning.

I've heard this on FNC, MSNBC,
CNN, at least a dozen times.

There will be yet another arrest possibly by this evening if not by tomorrow,

lawdy!! Why don't they just save time and arrest the whole country at the same time?

I am amazed by this as well. I know that we send BORTAC and other DEA people throughout the Caribbean and So America for law enforcement work. Maybe US can only go into these areas under agreements the govt. has for drug interdiction, but nothing else???? i would ask my brother, but he never talks about his work.

Thanks to crazy bug eyed Wilbanks, a runaway theory will be born for a long, long time.

If by "it's not what everyone thinks happened to her", they might mean she is not dead, then what..she must have been sold?...Which is BTW, the last thing I ever thought to consider.

The way it looks to me is, our FBI in Aruba has no more authority or info given to them than NH's parents or anyone else......outside their LE & courts.

Even their media gets no info and even if they did, by law, they are not allowed to release it or face jail time.

I am appalled the FBI hasn't gotten pushy w/them by now.

I'm not thinking along the runaway bride lines. Still holding out a little hope that NH was spirited away to Venezuela.

One of the posts mentioned a search of a small village in north Venezuela. Keeping fingers crossed that it is successful.

Thanks for the interesting posts from the other forum. Apparently the person knows what she/he is talking about, since Natalee's Mom seemed to indicate there will be more arrests in the future.

I'm still wondering if Natalee was sold. I keep remembering a couple photos on Joran's site. Under a photo of him and his friends, he used the word *Pimps*. Some didn't think it was an unusual choice of words. I still think it could be a clue.

While it would be horrible if Natalee was given to Slave Traders, at least she might still be alive and therefore be rescued.

The last court hearing is still is session : The hearings of both of the Kalpoe brothers have culminated. The court is hearing Joran van der Sloot at this time. Seeing that the case of every suspect is being treated separately (with an average time of 2,5 hours per session) its going to take at least one more hour before the last hearing ends. No decision is going to be made before each suspect has been heard. At first the decision of the court was expected to come on Friday, but the hearings have taken all day and now it is unlikely that the decision is going to be made today ….
