The jury looked the mother in the eye and heard her admit to lying to get money from Pennys. They heard her admit that she had instructed her children to make false statements. They watched her and listened to her. That's more than any of us had a chance to do. then with this first hand knowledge they made a unanimous decision.
I have to go with the jury on this one. They were there, I was not.

Maybe not the best mother but what it really amounts to is "Who believes a 11 year old kid?" when he's up against Michael Jackson.

I heard some of the jurors today. Very emotional people. Someone in that group "led" them right to that verdict. It was a Michael Jackson pity party.
