Prayers for a very brave woman, I pray that her family is totally supportive and just loves that little baby to pieces.
Children are a blessing from God. There is no greater joy on earth and a child can replace pain with love.
Prayers sent from Tx.
I believe she may already have this joy - she loves her baby.
Father in heaven, I beg you to heap blessings in her life most abundantly, and let their be no stain or pain in the love of mother and child. When the time is right, please send to her a good man to be her husband and father to her child, if that be Your will.
In Jesus' name, amen.
Sorry, but I am sure she was a straight A student, etc. Why in the heck if she was truly raped did she not report it at the time. I hate to come accross so brazen but kids will be kids and hormones will rage. Why was it when I was a kid the Catholic girls in town was at the top of the boys topics.
I've known this girl her entire life, I have absolutely no reason to disbelieve her.
Prayers being sent for this brave young woman and her family
May the Lord work this for good, according to Romans 8.28.
Comfort, wisdom, and courage for the young woman. And may the man be held financially responsible.
A blessing on mother and child.
Bless her for doing the right thing for this innocent child.
Prayers up!
God will Bless you and reward you for the goodness you have.
Let's also hope and pray her child gets her intelligence, character, and moral fortitude. Prayers for her have been sent!

Don't be a jerk. Have a LITTLE human compassion. Imagine she was your sister.

God will bring good out of this, wait and you'll see.
You and I don't often agree, but we agree here. Of course we can't KNOW -- we weren't there. But the story sounds to me more like: daughter of devout Catholic parents feels she can't tell them what really happened, so she made up the rape story. I hope all goes well for her, regardless of what really happened. But I really feel sorry for kids whose parents are so "devout" that their kids can't talk to them about the normal activities of normal teens and young adults.
A few years back, this mentality killed a pregnant college student. She hadn't told her "devout Catholic" parents she was pregnant, and apparently hadn't told anyone but her boyfriend for fear of how the parents would react when they found out. She miscarried quite a late term fetus (IIRC it was still barely alive when they found her) in a toilet stall of the dorm bathroom and bled to death there -- while her "devout" parents were sound asleep at home, confident that their virginal daughter was safe at college.
Agreed in prayer.
I will pray for your friend, her baby, and the grandmother taking care of the baby.
