It has been 9 days since the girl disappeared. And, I think it is a mistake to expect much from the " authorities " in Aruba.
Just as an example, here in DC Chandra Levy's murder has not been solved after a couple of years. Do you want to invade DC and kill innocent people here, too?
The Arubian police and authorities have little experience with murder cases for the simple reason that there are so few murders in Aruba for them to actually investigate. They've asked the FBI and other American officials to help with the investigation. The government gave all civil service workers the day off a couple of days ago to help with the search. By all accounts, the Arubian government has done everything in their power to find this girl.
And yet, internet blowhards puff up their chests and demand that we send in Marines. To do what, exactly, kill a bunch of innocent people and wreck a peaceful, American-friendly country?
I'll say this- thankfully, the adults are in charge in DC. If you proposed your plan to the President, he would probably have you carted off to the local looney bin for evaluation.
We don't have a clue as to what connected the girl with the two men picked up. Presumably one of the original three men said they'd passed her on to the two after an hour or two on the beach where she no doubt raped them. (sarc.) They probably drugged her back in the bar. So where were her friends? The kids should have been told not to go anywhere alone. But, the two men say they have rock solid alibis and never saw the girl.

Hmm, they said on tv that there were 43 chaperones for the 130 plus kids. Sounds like an awful lot of grownups, if true, but clearly not enough.
I can't believe she went off willingly with three strange men...without at least a girlfriend to go to the bathroom with.
The school has said it wasn't a school-sponsored trip, but something this particular group of parents/kids had done before, several times. So the school can't be sued.
Now, I heard on CTV, that the Judge says there is enough evidence to hold the two security guards...OK What?
I'd feel more comfortable knowing what that evidence is before I go off convicting them of this crime, if only from my prior lessons on FR case threads :~)

Multiculturalism. Everyone of color and ethnicity is good. Whites are inherently evil and take advantage of everyone else, especially American whites. And what do you propose? How exactly should the US go about pushing around a democratic country? Knowing, of course, that such tactics inevitably backfire and that any smart defense lawyer would be able to use the political pressure as a defense and claim that his clients were being railroaded to appease Uncle Sam.
Perhaps you should leave this investigation to the professionals who are now involved and go back to doing whatever the heck it is you do with your time.

Early on in the case, the news on tv was that Natalee hit on the original three for sex; it was all her idea. Oh, sure, she wanted to be gang-banged. Not. She was doped or drugged.

I don't buy their story of her having willing sex with the three guys, either, esp. since one is the son of a judge. That's so....familiar...blame the victim! She wanted it! If these guys get off, and I include the original 3, who if they had been decent, would have walked her inside that hotel, then Aruba deserves to lose its tourist business for good.
TV reporters have said half the island is developed for the tourist trade, but the other half is, to use their word, 'decrepit'. There is a thriving drug and prostitution trade in the Caribbean, and slavery, white and otherwise, is alive and well.

If, as the witness says, she got into the car with one man behind the wheel...and the other two were ducked down, as if hiding in the back seat, then she didn't know she was going off with three men.
