The two suspects arrested in connection with the disappearance have just been charged with murder, homicide and kidnapping leading to homicide.
I had presumed, not accused. Had I been in Aruba I would have helped search (I hope). However, the list of items you present is not sufficient to convince me that she is not fallen. How many stable, successful businessmen suddenly run out on their wives and families? Sometimes excelling brings pressures that we ordinary people can not understand.
Shalom.
Aargh! That's exactly what I want to get away from, she said sitting in two sweaters and a fleece pullover with the heat on at home in June. It's been an abominable excuse for summer here and the forecast for the rest of the month looks just as rotten. Gotta get me to a palm tree.
Actually, when it comes to human nature, especially in teens, I've become quite the cynic. I think that makes me worse than you imply, but not as nasty as the poster you were responding to wants to believe.
I was only a decent student and average achiever and the urge to just chuck it and run off rose up occasionally.
Shalom.
I watched a short interview with Natalee's stepfather on Fox & Friends this morning. He stated that local law enforcement has not informed the family that these two men in custody have been charged with homicide. He has heard it only through media reports.
As the mother of a nineteen year old daughter, I can't give up hope that Natalee is still alive. It is possible that Aruban officials are holding these men as suspects so the public will consider the case solved. The last thing they want is to decrease or stop revenues from their number one resource - tourism.
ENOUGH! It is time we bring strong political pressure on these " authorities ."
I heard this too. ALL FIVE should be considered suspects.
That's a big 10-4. and synonomous with this crime.NSNR
The conflicting information being released is mindboggling. Consider this report from CNN on June 4:
Justice Minister Rudy Croes said police questioned and released two Surinamese nationals and a native of the Netherlands who said they dropped Holloway off early Monday at the Holiday Inn where she had been staying, rectifying police reports that the three men had been Aruban students. He said the three men were residents of Aruba.
Is this perhaps him?

Aw, c'mon. Lighten up. You set yourself up for it....
The current headline is not the original headline. The original headline said Natalee was charged with murder.
Looks to be him.
Did I hear he's left Aruba?
People are quick to call this girl a slut, but honestly when I was that age, I was really gullible and can see how a young inexperienced girl could fall into a trap, these con artists are really good at their trade.
"Did I hear he's left Aruba? "
Apparently. If he lives there full time and is not just visiting why the sudden need to leave the country. Why not stay and help in the search?
You're right. :o(
Dear,(Trust but Verify)the FR site is where discussions are generated. Some of the ideas are speculative and theories are sometimes incorrect. The point is, various topics are being discussed by many people. Good things emerge from these discussions and "Thank God" for this site during our presidential election. One or more freepers on this site busted Dan Rather's fake memos(douments) story on President Bush's National Guard service. My suggestion is take a chill pill, and you will fit in just nicely. Heres another one, "Just be cool and everything will be everything." Note: "I do apoligize for the gender inaccuracy." As to me, retired, financially secure, graduate degree and had two successful careers(law enforcement)in both the military and federal civil service. I am extending an olive branch to you, will you accept it? Your's Truly, NSNR
I appreciate your olive branch gesture, I've been around here a very long time.
I can believe you believe this if this is your customary practice.
I think they all have her blood on their hands and should be judged accordingly.
Local Woman Recalls Alleged Assault In Aruba
North Shore Resident Says Hotel Worker Took Advantage Of Her
BOSTON -- The search for the missing Alabama teenager on the island of Aruba has prompted another Massachusetts woman to come forward with a story of a vacation gone horribly wrong.
NewsCenter 5's Jack Harper reported that police and FBI agents have scaled back the search for Natalee Holloway. On Monday, more than 700 volunteers combed the island looking for any sign of the 18-year-old girl. Two men have been charged in connection with her disappearance.
A common thread links the Holloway case to a pair of Massachusetts women who say they were sexually assaulted on the island after leaving the popular nightclub called Carlos and Charlie's.
The North Shore woman, who does not want to be identified, said that she came forward with her story as a warning to others. She said that two years ago in Aruba, she befriended a hotel worker, who she says turned against her.
"On my last night there, I decided to go out on a date with him. I thought it would just be a friendly, harmless affair, and it turned out to be a disaster," she said. "He took me to the local bar in Aruba, Carlos and Charlie's. He bought me drinks, and after we left the bar, he proceeded to take me to a parking lot where he assaulted me."
While no one is certain what happened to Holloway, many fear the worst. The North Shore woman believes that some hotel workers are using their positions to take advantage of young girls.
"I guess I wasn't thinking and I felt like I was safe with this person. He seemed friendly, and I thought it would just be an innocent date -- you know, go out dancing. I really didnt think such a tragedy would happen," she said. "A lot of locals go there at night just for fun. A lot of American girls go there and party and they even have a stage there where the young girls, they get them drunk, and they get up on stage and they start doing foolish things that they probably never would do at home. They are under the influence and they are on vacation."
The woman did not tell police at the time of the alleged assault.
"After this happened, I wish that I did come forward because this could have been one of the people that harmed this young girl," she said.

Everyone associated with all five of the perps needs to be probed. The bartenders could be slipping drugs into certain drinks.
