Comments, questions, concerns.
A few thoughts on New Jersey:
I hate New Jersey...
I hate New Jerseyans...
I hate the cesspool in Trenton...
I hate the cesspoll in Mt Holly (county seat)..
I hate the cesspool at the local level (Evesham)...
I hate the NJ "republican" party which is to the left of Air America radio...
I REALLY hate the NJ democrat party which is to the left of Karl Marx...
I hate the next governor, the Dishonorable Comrade Corzine...
And...drum roll please...I hate the NJNEA, NJDOT, NJDMV, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Atlantic City, and everything else concerned with Jersey -- even football jerseys...because they're called JERSEYS!!!
...elvis voice..."...thank you, thank you very much".
BTW, I stopped in before work this morning and voted for Bret knowing there would be a better chance of hitting the Pick 6 lottery twice...in one week...than Bret actually becoming governor.
Can't argue with any of that.
I'm seriously considering packing my bags and moving to either Pennsylvania or Delaware, or better yet even hauling a** all the way to Florida.
I have a feeling Corzine is going to force major tax increases on this state. His healthcare scheme is certainly going to make insurance even more expensive than it is now.
New Jersey is just a cesspool that becomes a bigger cesspool every day. Why I'm still here, I do not know.
The lady on News 12 had it right, Steve Lonegan is the New Jersey Conservative's version of Ralph Nader.
Just wonderful, Forrester is probably going to get shalacked by Corzine. I was only able to tolerate McGreevy because I lived under an even more Liberal Governor, George Pataki, Corzine is almost as bad.
Lonegan is worse than Ralph Nader- Lonegan directly targeted the one conservative who had a shot in the election, thus undermining his own cause and the cause of his very own supporters- all for political gain. Nader at least was an equal opportunity targeter, he fired at both the GOP and the Democratic candidates. Lonegan though seemed like he was just obsessed with taking Schundler down.
Did you see him on Sunday's debate? I really want to know what happened between this guy and Bret to start such resentment.
In the end, though, New Jersey conservatives have only themselves to blame for why the most liberal guy won. They chose emotion over logic, voting for Lonegan when they knew he wouldn't win instead of voting for Schundler who very easily could have won with their votes.
Except for his swipe at Delay, I did like Murphy. I think he took as many votes from Forrester as from Bret.
I hope he runs for US Senate in 2006.
I believe Tom Kean Jr. is running, I hate that RINO bastard so I'll gladly go for Murphy.
Exactly right, IMO.
Sad thing is, you're right.
It is wednesday at eleven twenty three in the morning.
I started this thread last night before I went to bed.
For the past few years I've said NJ is full of morons, because of the demonRATs that keep being elected. I'm sad to say that it's still full of morons, and that applies as well to a good portion of the Republicans, unfortunately.
For all the Forrester supporters out there, I hope your candidate continues to do you proud.
wow, you have a lot of clout! I'm impressed that you can influence the entire state of NJ!
I think you mean "local."
Murphy's swipe at Delay finished him for me. Completely.
If that is the correct term, than yes.
I wrote off NJ, NY and the whole northeast a while ago. Rotten to the core.
bttt
I emailed out all my findings to my lists since I didn't have anything but attack responses.
..."findings"...???
