Senator John F. Kerry, ending at least two years of refusal, has waived privacy restrictions and authorized the release of his full military and medical records.
The records, which the Navy Personnel Command provided to the Globe, are mostly a duplication of what Kerry released during his 2004 campaign for president, including numerous commendations from commanding officers who later criticized Kerry's Vietnam service.
The lack of any substantive new material about Kerry's military career in the documents raises the question of why Kerry refused for so long to waive privacy restrictions.

Nobody would have to remove anything. The records were released to the Globe where anything even slightly critical of a Kerrydy is completely ignored while the staff bows down in obeisance to the high priests of Socialism and corruption.
If the records were released to the Herald we would have a better chance of finding out what they say -- but not much.

Until all of the records that went to the Globe are on the net, we will never know the truth. Just as in RatherGate, are they fakes? Have they been doctored or shopped? Or are they just incomplete.
It is too easy to get a document scanner and then alter, add or remove information. They have learned from cBS, that is why they are not on the net yet.

The Boston Globe, sheesh that means they're forever protected by the Seal of the Confessional. Might as well have place them in a time capsule on an extragalatic trajectory.
It's not like the Boston Globe is going to go over them with a fine tooth comb and find any revealing details or even recognize them if they did. Post them on the internet and in 45 minutes eagle-eyed bloggers will spot the tell-tale hints requiring requiring a whole lotta 'splainin'.

"The lack of any substantive new material about Kerry's military career in the documents raises the question of why Kerry refused for so long to waive privacy restrictions."
This is akin to Saddam shipping off his WMD's to Syria, et el, prior to the war. Yet so many still wonder "if Saddam had no WMD's why didn't he prove it so that he could maintain his status/lifestyle in the Middle East?" It's because he did have them (WMD's).
Likewise, if John Kerry had nothing to hide, why has he refused for so long to waive privacy restrictions. It's because the documentation had to be altered/changed/moved first.
Saddam couldn't move fast enough to beat the UN deadline to move the WMD's to another country -- therefore, eventually war started -- and Kerry couldn't beat the Presidential election deadline to have his 180 cleansed.
Maybe a poor analogy, I don't know.

Exactly. He's sending the records through a left-wing middle man mouthpiece. About as credible as hillary clinton talking about "truth".

Is, among the documents released under Form 180, a copy of the signed Form 180 itself?

No -- they're not fakes. For the 100th time, they're not fakes!

Don't worry, whatever will be released to the pubic (if anything ever really is), has already been scrubbed as to not damage Hanoi John in the next election.

why Kerry didn't get into Harvard Law School Could have something to do with receiving 4 D's his freshman year at Yale.
(Just heard it this am on the radio.)

If he hasn't signed form 180, than this is simply more bullshiite from NVA JohnExactly. And IIRC, he recently said he signed it, but he hadn't yet mailed it..... He just needs to pop it in the mail.

Is Kerry receiving any disability payments do to war wounds.
I don't think he can claim payments for brain damage because as you can see by his grades that brain damage was a pre-existing condition.

"I read that story about him signing Form 180, but there has been no independent verification that he did sign it.. IMHO we will never see his complete record for the simple fact that if his service was so honorable, he would have signed the form already."
I served for many years...1980-2004, in both active duty and reserve components of the Army. I would not release my record. It's nobody's business.

Is anybody here surprised that once released the records were "sanitized"?
To: FairOpinion
Has Kerry released the SF-180 itself? It might be interesting to see if there are any restrictions or conditions stated.

He released them because all incriminating information in them has been removed.
Even someone who votes a straight Democrat ticket can figure this out.

The Boston Globe is not a creditable source and must be considered as a propaganda purveyor rather than a publisher of truth.
The only acceptable reporting on this story must come from Fox News. When Brit reports it then it can be believed.
