The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

MIRAMAR, Fla. -- Despite the massive federal, state and local law enforcement effort to stop terrorists from entering the United States, there is no strong evidence of how well it is working.

Many experts are concerned that there are plenty of terrorists or sympathizers already in the country who have been here for years. Some are even citizens.

The Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers were the first wave and now the increasing number of arrests seems to signal a second wave of terrorism in South Florida.

AL-QAEDA ISSUES NEW THREATS

A GROUP calling itself the Organisation of Al-Qaeda Jihad in Europe claimed the attacks in London and threatened similar strikes in Italy, Denmark and other "Crusader" states with troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The attacks which left at least 33 people dead and scores injured in blasts which ripped through London underground trains and a bus have prompted the United States and European states to boost security and raise anti-terror alerts.

"Heroic mujahedeens carried out a sacred attack in London, and here is Britain burning in fear, terror, and fright in the north, south, east and west,".........

and what seems to be there capabilities. Something is

LONDON -- Neatly shorn and bespectacled, Britain's best-known Islamic radical appeared in court Tuesday, charged with encouraging the murder of Jews and other non-Muslims.

The fiery cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri sat uncharacteristically silent in the dock at the Old Bailey as lawyers outlined legal arguments ahead of his jury trial.

Tuesday had been set for the trial's beginning, but the first session was taken up with legal arguments, which are expected to continue all week. Court orders forbid any reporting of the arguments, which take place without a jury present.

Wearing a blue smock with hair gray hair and beard trimmed, al-Masri was surrounded by four guards in the dock of the wood-panelled courtroom.

He faces trial on 15 counts, including nine of soliciting the murder of others, "namely a person or persons who did not believe in the Islamic faith." Three of the charges add: "in particular Jewish people."

He also faces four counts of using threatening or abusive language designed to stir racial hatred, one count of possessing threatening or abusive recordings and one count of possessing a document likely to be useful in terrorism -- the "Encyclopedia of the Afghani Jihad."

Al-Masri pleaded innocent to all charges at a hearing in January.

On the top-secret Muslims-only forums at RevivingIslam.com, where they wish Allah would give them the chance to kill me, they are, like the "moderate" Muslim leaders of Britain, more concerned about possible reprisals against Muslims than with the victims of these attacks, or with finding the jihadists within their ranks and bringing them to justice:
