May 28, 2005 McCain Urging Accord on Bolton and Secret Documents By DOUGLAS JEHL and CARL HULSE WASHINGTON, May 27 - One of John R. Bolton's leading Republican backers, Senator John McCain of Arizona, signaled his support on Friday for a compromise in which the White House might allow Senate leaders access to highly classified documents in return for a final vote early next month on Mr. Bolton's nomination as United Nations ambassador. The conciliatory signal from Mr. McCain came as Senate leaders traded blame over who was responsible for the miscalculation that led to Mr. Bolton's nomination being blocked Thursday. But the White House showed

Please use the original published title when you post a published article. Thanks.

Not to mention that original titles help prevent duplicates (search points to both this exact article posted at 10:49 pm CDT yesterday and a Drudge "teaser" with the exact title posted at 9:57 pm CDT yesterday).

I'm beginning to wonder if there's something else at work here now. If someone just doesn't want access to these docs, regardless of what Bolton has to do with them.

VERY interesting conjecture. I am firmly of the opinion that John McCain will be Hillary Clinton's running mate, and this conjecture would indicate that he is already doing her document-collection bidding.

Senator MC Crap:

We need to see all your documents before we let you continue on as a loosed lipped idiot.

Also included in secret documents are those from Dirty Hairy; Poleski; Kennedy; Kerry; Boxer; SkinnyFinn; and the HillBilly Clinton.

We need all these documents before you say another word or deed to our country.

The People WHO you don't serve

The President said yesterday he would NOT provide these intercepts to the Senate.

So now McCainiac thinks he can trump Bush.

Why, oh why, is melanoma so slow-acting?

No, Mr. McCain (Democrat lead man), we will not give dems access to classified material. In case you are not aware - they are anti-America at every turn and will use it against the U.S. in some manner.

You are not elected to work for the democrats - you might want to remember that.

I'll bet McCain relishes controlling those oh-so-crucial swing Senate votes, just as I'll bet Sarah Day O'Connor enjoys the power and media accolades of being that 'centrist voice of reason' who gets to decide all the close Supreme Court decisions, often to our frustration. A pox on both their houses.

Hey that's my line!! I just wrote to him this morning and addressed him in my Email with: "Dear Senator McPain".

I am looking for anti-McCain Republicans in Arizona who I can send money to. I would like to help build a fund to:

Put up McCain-the-Rhino-image billboards in Arizona cities.
Pay for radio ad-time to play the anti-McCain song that Rush was playing on Friday.
Pay for door to door canvassing to help produce a vote against McCain in his own state primary in 2008.

Too funny. I had seen "McPain" in other threads and thought it was appropriate. I like that you emailed him using that name.

BTW, you joined FR on the same day that I did!

I think "ask him to resign" is far too polite and PC for what WE need to do. It scares me when I here Brit Hume opine that he predicts democrats to win back Congress!! He was among the last people I expected that staement from.
McCain is rattling the cage and believes himself immune to any retaliation.
